Hyderabad :- In a heart-wrenching incident, a one-and-a-half-year-old girl, V Priyanshi, tragically lost her life after accidentally falling from a building in Kachiguda on Saturday night.

According to reports, the toddler resided with her parents on the second floor of a building in Nimboliadda, within the jurisdiction of Kachiguda police station. The unfortunate event occurred while the child was playing and ventured out of the hall while her parents were indoors.

Sub-Inspector P Ravi Kumar of Kachiguda provided details of the incident, stating that the girl climbed onto a chair, inadvertently leaned over the parapet wall, and tragically slipped, falling onto the terrace of a neighboring building. The fall resulted in severe head injuries.

Despite being rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention, the child succumbed to her injuries during treatment.

In response to a formal complaint, the police registered a case and subsequently transferred the body for post-mortem examination at Osmania General Hospital. Following the examination on Sunday, the body was returned to the grieving family.

KTR Slams Congress Hypocrisy as MLA Defection Contradicts Anti-Defection Manifesto Pledge

0

Hyderabad :- In a striking display of contradiction, the Telangana Congress witnessed a notable defection mere hours after the party unveiled its manifesto promising amendments to combat political defections.

Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy spearheaded the effort to persuade Bhadrachalam MLA Tellam Venkat Rao to abandon the BRS (Bhoomi Rajyam Sankshema Samiti) and join the Congress ranks.

Despite the party’s vocal commitment to anti-defection measures outlined in their manifesto, this incident underscores a disconnect between the party’s public stance and its actions on the ground.

The sequence of events unfolded swiftly, with Venkat Rao’s defection being publicly endorsed in the presence of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, effectively welcoming him into the Congress fold.

While the Congress has vehemently opposed defections, recent actions suggest a different agenda at play, with MLA Danam Nagender and MLA Kadiyam Srihari among those enticed to switch allegiances.

This move has drawn sharp criticism from BRS working president KT Rama Rao, who accused the Congress of hypocrisy. Rama Rao pointed to the dissonance between the party’s electoral promises and its actions post-election, highlighting the inclusion of a sitting BRS MLA on their Lok Sabha ticket and the embrace of another defector into their ranks.

The dissonance between rhetoric and reality raises questions about the party’s integrity and consistency, prompting scrutiny of its moral standing in the political arena.

Hyderabad :- In a heart-wrenching incident reported from Mangalhat, Hyderabad, a four-year-old girl tragically lost her life after sustaining severe burns inflicted by a five-year-old boy, purportedly during a playful interaction involving a matchstick.

The distressing event occurred on April 1, within the confines of their shared residential building. The boy, a neighbor of the girl, accompanied her to his residence for what was intended to be an innocent play session. However, the situation took a devastating turn within moments.

As recounted by authorities, the girl’s mother was alerted by the sound of agonizing cries emanating from the boy’s dwelling. Upon rushing to the scene, she was met with a harrowing sight: her daughter, lying on the floor, engulfed in flames.

Sub-Inspector G Ambica of Mangalhat detailed the girl’s revelation to her mother, stating that the boy, engaged in playful antics, had inadvertently ignited the girl’s clothing with a lit matchstick. Despite immediate medical attention and transfer to Osmania General Hospital (OGH), the young girl succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.

In response to the tragedy, law enforcement has initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the CrPC, with reference to Section 82 of the IPC, which absolves children under seven years of age from criminal liability. While the incident was undoubtedly born out of youthful innocence, it serves as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance and precaution, particularly when handling potentially hazardous objects.

Samples of various food items, including Plum Cake, Sponge Cake, and Milk Bread, were collected for testing under the provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and Rules, 2011.

Sonia Gandhi Alleges PM Modi’s Regime Threatens Democracy and National Dignity

At a recent election event in Jaipur, senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of dismantling the country’s dignity and democratic principles. Gandhi alleged that the ruling government has deliberately exacerbated issues like unemployment, inflation, economic turmoil, and inequality over the past decade.

Gandhi’s remarks come amidst a charged political atmosphere, with Lok Sabha elections on the horizon. She claimed that the BJP was resorting to various tactics to coerce opposition leaders into joining their ranks. The former Congress chief warned of a concerted effort to erode democratic institutions and alter the country’s constitutional framework.

Echoing Gandhi’s sentiments, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the party’s national general secretary, highlighted recent arrests of opposition figures like Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren by federal agencies. She criticized the government for its alleged failure to address pressing issues like unemployment, inflation, and the plight of farmers.

The Congress party has released its manifesto, titled ‘Nyay Patra,’ promising justice and vowing to prioritize the needs of the nation’s marginalized communities. As the political landscape intensifies, the accusations and counter-accusations between the ruling BJP and the opposition are expected to escalate further.

White House Cancels Annual Iftar Dinner Amidst Muslim American Protest Over Biden’s Gaza Policy.

0

In a surprising turn of events, the White House has opted to cancel its traditional yearly iftar banquet, a longstanding tradition symbolizing unity and inclusivity during the holy month of Ramadan. Typically, this event brings together Muslims in government, community leaders, and members of the diplomatic corps to share in a meal after a day of fasting.

The decision to cancel the banquet comes after many Muslim Americans declined the invitation in protest of President Biden’s perceived support for Israel’s actions in Gaza. This move highlights the deep divisions and tensions within the Muslim community regarding Biden’s Gaza war policy.

Edward Ahmed Mitchell, the deputy director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, condemned the White House’s stance, stating, “The American Muslim community said very early on that it would be completely unacceptable for us to break bread with the very same White House that is enabling the Israeli government to starve and slaughter the Palestinian people in Gaza.”

Initially, plans were in place for a scaled-back iftar dinner, as reported by CNN on Monday. However, hours later, the White House backtracked, announcing only a smaller meal for Muslim government staffers and a separate meeting for Muslim community leaders.

Even this revised arrangement faced disruptions, with a Palestinian American doctor walking out in protest during the meeting with the president. The cancellation of the iftar banquet underscores the deep divisions and tensions surrounding President Biden’s Gaza war policy within the Muslim community and beyond.
