During a rally in Kolayat to endorse BJP’s Bikaner Lok Sabha seat candidate and Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the necessity of implementing the ‘one nation, one election’ system. He asserted that such a system would lead to significant savings in time, money, and resources.

Singh highlighted the formation of a committee, led by former President Ramnath Kovind, which has submitted a report on this matter to President Droupadi Murmu. He expressed confidence that the people of India would support this decision.

While acknowledging the opposition from the Congress, Singh criticized the party’s tendency to oppose initiatives without due consideration. He reiterated the potential benefits of the ‘one nation, one election’ system in terms of efficiency and resource optimization.

Addressing security concerns, Singh pointed out the significant reduction in terrorist incidents under the current administration. He also highlighted achievements such as the construction of the Ram Mandir and India’s progress in manufacturing its own weapons.

Singh praised Arjun Ram Meghwal, highlighting his unique approach of commuting to Parliament on a bicycle. He further addressed a rally in Pilani, advocating for BJP candidate Shubhkaran Chaudhary in the Jhunjhunu Lok Sabha segment.
