“Modi Will Not Remain in Power Forever,” Says Omar Abdullah

0

Omar Abdullah, who is poised to take charge of Jammu and Kashmir, stated in an interview with the BBC that hoping for the return of Article 370 from those who stripped it away is “foolish.” He emphasized, “I have always said this over the past five years. It is naive to expect that the very people who took away Article 370 will return it to us.”

He expressed confidence that, “At some point, the government in the country will change. Eventually, a new government will come, one with which we can at least engage in dialogue.”

It is important to note that Prime Minister Modi’s government abrogated Article 370 in August 2019, which had granted Kashmir a semi-autonomous status along with special privileges. Following this abrogation, all central laws of India were enforced in Kashmir without the approval of the state assembly.

Referring to the Modi government, Abdullah stated, “They will not remain in power forever. Even the BJP acknowledges that they will not be in power indefinitely. Sooner or later, they will have to face defeat.” The BJP has secured 29 seats in the Jammu region, while the National Conference and Congress hold 48 seats in the 90-member assembly. However, Abdullah clarified, “This assembly is not what we deserve; it is a temporary assembly. Through this assembly, we will reach the assembly promised to us by the Prime Minister of this country.”

Abdullah asserted that Jammu and Kashmir would regain its status as a state, stating, “We are waiting for that.” He added, “The first resolution passed in the first cabinet meeting after the formation of the government should be to restore Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood.”

The National Conference has long supported dialogue between Pakistan and India to resolve the Kashmir issue. This month, a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will take place in Pakistan, which Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will attend. However, he has made it clear that relations between Pakistan and India will not be discussed during this visit.

In response to a related question during the BBC interview, Abdullah remarked, “There will be no dialogue, but the Indian Foreign Minister is going to Pakistan. It’s a small beginning; just yesterday, he wasn’t even ready to go. It may be a small step, but it is in the right direction.”

“Congress Questions RSS Chief Bhagwat’s Contradictory Statements on Minority Rights and Unity”

0

“You Reap What You Sow: A Stark Reminder from Pawan Khera”

Delhi October 12, 2024 :– RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat recently made a statement regarding the situation of Hindus in Bangladesh, emphasizing the need for unity among Hindus worldwide. “What happened in our neighboring Bangladesh? It might have some immediate reasons, but due to that chaos, the tradition of committing atrocities against Hindus was repeated there. For the first time, Hindus united and came onto the roads for their protection. However, if this radical nature of committing atrocities continues, not only Hindus but all minorities will be in danger. They need help from Hindus across the globe. It is a crime to be weak. If we are weak, we are inviting atrocities. We must be united and empowered wherever we are,” Bhagwat stated.

In response to Bhagwat’s remarks, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge condemned the RSS leader, saying, “You (Bhagwat) are the one who supports the party that wants disunity in the country. It starts with changing the Constitution, ending reservations, and then speaking differently about Muslims. The main role in spreading hatred lies with Mohan Bhagwat.”

Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera further criticized Bhagwat’s statements, pointing out contradictions in his stance. He remarked, “It is good that Bhagwat ji understands the condition of minorities in Bangladesh and what they should do. However, it is surprising that when minorities in India speak of unity, it is viewed as a threat.”

Khera appreciated Bhagwat’s call for global Hindu unity but questioned the discomfort surrounding discussions raised by leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi on topics like Palestine in Parliament. “They must answer for these contradictions,” Khera demanded.

He illustrated his point with a metaphor: “When you sow the seeds of a Babul tree, can you expect it to bear mangoes? If this Babul tree does not bear mangoes, would you blame the soil? It is you who planted the seeds of Babul, so what is the use of complaining now?” Khera underscored how actions lead to predictable outcomes.

Khera further stressed the importance of the Indian Constitution in empowering all citizens equally, without discrimination between Hindus and Muslims. “It is the Constitution that strengthens all communities,” he stated. He wished Bhagwat a happy Vijayadashami while suggesting he should also adopt the slogan, “Hail the Constitution.”

Launching a scathing critique, Khera accused Bhagwat of remaining silent on several critical issues affecting Indian society. “Bhagwat ji, neither society nor this democracy needs you anymore. Amit Shah and the BJP have sidelined you, and your silence is responsible for this,” Khera declared.

Citing various instances of neglect, he stated, “When a Dalit girl was raped and murdered in Hathras, you remained silent. When farmers protested on the streets of Delhi against police brutality, you stayed quiet. When the rapists of Bilkis Bano were released and greeted with garlands, you said nothing. When Akhlaq and Pehlu Khan were lynched, you remained mute. When the BJP’s connections to the murder of Kanhaiya Lal, the tailor, surfaced, you were silent once again.”

Khera also highlighted atrocities against Dalits, including incidents where they were forced to drink urine, questioning Bhagwat’s continued silence on such matters. He added, “You had one last opportunity when the BJP talked about amending the Constitution, but you stayed silent then as well. Now, neither society nor the BJP needs you anymore.”

Khera concluded his remarks with a pointed statement: “Mr. Modi Doesn’t Take You Seriously: Society No Longer Needs the RSS or You. Jai Hind!”

In June 2024, Khera shared a video on his Twitter handle, criticizing Bhagwat for his inaction, which he believes reflects a lack of seriousness from Prime Minister Modi regarding the concerns raised by the RSS Chief.

Watch : Hyderabad’s Roads Fall Silent as Residents Leave for Dussehra Celebrations

0

Hyderabad, October 12, 2024:– As the Dussehra festival unfolds, the usually bustling streets of Hyderabad are experiencing an unusual calm. Roads that are often clogged with bumper-to-bumper traffic, filled with the constant sound of honking, are now eerily quiet. The once noisy and crowded streets have transformed into peaceful stretches, with only a few vehicles passing by occasionally.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that Hyderabad feels almost empty during this time. The majority of residents have left the city to celebrate the festival in their native villages, leaving the city streets deserted. Roads that are known for heavy traffic jams on regular days are now nearly vacant, a rare sight during the busy times of the year.

Typically, Hyderabad’s roads, often jammed with vehicles, have been cleared out as people travel out of town for the festivities. Festivals like Dussehra and Diwali often result in a sharp decline in city traffic, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The sound of honking horns has diminished significantly, offering a stark contrast to the usual chaos.

While the city slows down for the holiday, those remaining in Hyderabad are witnessing a calmness that only comes during these major celebrations. This annual trend continues as residents take a break from their daily routines to join in the festivities, giving the bustling city a quiet, almost serene atmosphere.

Watch : “Hunger Knows No Boundaries: Monkey Snatches Tiffin at Delhi High Court, Raises Broader Concerns”

0

Delhi, October 8, 2024: In an unusual incident at the Delhi High Court, a monkey caused quite a commotion by snatching a tiffin box from someone on the premises. The incident, initially seen as amusing, was captured on video and later shared on social media by Supreme Court Advocate Sanjay Hegde, where it went viral. The video shows the startled crowd attempting to retrieve the tiffin while the monkey, undeterred, casually enjoyed its meal.

While the event sparked laughter online, it also sparked a much deeper conversation about hunger, a universal experience shared by both humans and animals. “Hunger, whether felt by humans or animals, knows no boundaries,” one commenter reflected. “It has no religion, and yet we see divisions and hatred being fueled in the name of religion.”

This incident has brought to light a greater issue – why, in a world where hunger unites all living beings, are we divided by religion, hatred, and violence? “Everyone comes into this world empty-handed, and leaves empty-handed. All the wealth, property, and fame we amass will remain behind when we go,” another person commented on the viral post. The message resonated deeply, urging people to reflect on the futility of material gains and the importance of living with love and kindness toward one another.

With wildlife and human interactions on the rise, such incidents also highlight the pressing issue of habitat encroachment. The increasing frequency of animals venturing into urban areas, as seen with a recent viral video of a leopard roaming in Karnataka, raises concerns about the balance between nature and urban development. However, the Delhi High Court episode provided a lighter moment of reflection, reminding people that life, much like hunger, is a shared experience – and we must live it with compassion.

Protest Demands:
Speaking to the media, Khusro Pasha urged the Supreme Court of India to take suo moto action against individuals like Yati Narsinghanand. He emphasized, “We can remain hungry, we can even sacrifice our lives, but we will never tolerate even a single word spoken against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

The protesters demanded that Yati Narsinghanand be imprisoned for life due to his repeated offensive remarks, which have hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the country. Several prominent religious, political, and social figures from Warangal city participated in the protest, voicing their outrage and calling for strict legal action.

Khusro Pasha also encouraged Muslim youth to remain calm and patient, stressing the need for legal action, saying, “We will fight this battle through legal means, and victory will be ours.”

“Is This Leopard Hungry? Viral Video from Bannerghatta National Park Raises Questions” Watch:

0

A video from Bannerghatta National Park in Karnataka, showing a leopard attempting to enter a bus through its window, has gone viral on social media. The footage has raised serious concerns about the management of wildlife in the park. It has led many to question whether the animals in the park are being properly cared for and fed.

The leopard’s behavior, approaching a tourist bus so closely, suggests a potential issue with the park’s maintenance. Normally, wild animals keep their distance from humans, but this incident points to a possible lack of food or improper supervision. Visitors and wildlife enthusiasts are now questioning whether the park authorities are ensuring the safety of both the animals and the tourists.

The video has sparked widespread discussion, with many asking if the park is facing challenges in managing its wildlife population. If animals like leopards are coming so close to human presence, it could be a sign of more significant problems in the park’s ecosystem and overall operations.

Watch / Chittoor Mayor S. Amudha in Heated Exchange with Traffic CI During Gandhi Jayanti Event

0

Chittoor/AP October 2, 2024 – A tense situation unfolded during the Gandhi Jayanti celebrations in Chittoor when Mayor S. Amudha arrived to pay tribute by decorating the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. The incident occurred when the Mayor’s driver was asked by the local Traffic Circle Inspector (CI) to park the vehicle elsewhere as it was obstructing the road.

The disagreement between Mayor Amudha and the Traffic CI escalated after the latter insisted on moving the car to a side parking space next to the Mayor’s vehicle. Witnesses reported that the argument continued for several minutes, causing a minor disruption during the event.

In a significant turn of events, a Traffic Sub-Inspector of Police taught a lesson in traffic rules to the Mayor, who is considered the first citizen of the city. Such incidents highlight a common occurrence where political leaders often bend small laws in an effort to maintain their influence. However, this particular Sub-Inspector made it clear that the law is equal for everyone, regardless of status or position.

The Mayor expressed her displeasure with the CI’s approach, stating that the vehicle arrangement should have been pre-coordinated, especially during an important event like Gandhi Jayanti. However, the CI maintained that road safety and traffic flow needed to be prioritized.

Despite the dispute, the event resumed shortly after, with Mayor S. Amudha completing the ceremony as planned. Local authorities have yet to comment on the issue, but it has drawn significant attention among residents, with some expressing support for the Mayor while others believe the CI was merely enforcing necessary traffic regulations.

The video of the exchange has surfaced online, adding to the discussion surrounding the incident.

WATCH : Musi Riverfront Development Project to Be Completed Despite Political Challenges: CM Revanth Reddy

0

Hyderabad October 3, 2024 :- Chief Minister Revanth Reddy reaffirmed today that the Musi Riverfront Development Project will be completed under all circumstances, denying any political motives behind it. He emphasized that the project was initiated with a vision for the future and the greater good. During his speech, Reddy accused the BRS party of misleading the public to protect their illegal farmhouses, stating that they have stooped to low-level politics for their personal gain.

Addressing a gathering at the Digital Health Card Pilot Launch event, the CM stated, “The Musi river cleanup is essential to combat pollution, and its preservation is crucial.” He highlighted that the project is aimed at securing a better future for Hyderabad, where untreated sewage from the Musi River has been contaminating agricultural lands in Nalgonda and surrounding areas.

In his address, Revanth Reddy revealed that the government has already allocated 1,500 2BHK homes for those affected by the project and has provided financial assistance of ₹25,000 per family. He further accused prominent BRS leaders, including KT Rama Rao, Harish Rao, and Sabitha Indra Reddy, of politicizing the issue to safeguard their illegal farmhouses under the guise of supporting the poor.

CM Revanth Reddy also criticized BJP MP Etala Rajender during his speech. He alleged that Rajender often parrots BRS press releases in front of the media, especially remarks made by KTR and Harish Rao. Reddy challenged Rajender to visit the Secretariat and work together, saying, “If you have any proposals, let’s go to Delhi together and bring some budget allocations for the state from Prime Minister Modi.”

Despite the government’s efforts, there remains discontent among those displaced by the project. Many have voiced concerns over the manner in which the evacuations were carried out. One resident remarked, “Cleaning the Musi was necessary, but the way the government forced people to vacate their homes wasn’t right. The government should have taken us into confidence before asking us to leave.”

Several families have already moved into the 2BHK apartments provided, but there are ongoing complaints, especially from larger families. One resident said, “There are eight to ten people in our family. How can we all live in a 2BHK apartment?”

A particularly poignant case involves a family with four brothers and a handicapped sister. The sister was given a 2BHK unit, but the brothers, who take care of her, were not allocated one. Their original house, which was on a 150-square-yard plot, was demolished, and they are still waiting for a resolution.

Other complaints include the high cost of relocating furniture, with laborers and truck drivers demanding ₹6,000 to move goods to the 9th floor of the new apartments. Residents have also reported frequent power outages and water shortages in the newly built 2BHK apartments.

While these 2BHK homes were initially built by the previous BRS government, the current Congress-led administration has demolished houses along the Musi riverbed to make way for the project, allotting these apartments to affected families. However, many unresolved issues persist, and the government is urged to address them beyond just the allotment of homes.

The residents hope that the government continues to support them in the long term, fulfilling their rightful demands and addressing the challenges they face in their new accommodations.

ED Summons Azharuddin Over Alleged ₹20 Crore Scam, Seeks More Time

0

Hyderabad : October 3, 2024 : -Former cricketer-turned-politician Mohammad Azharuddin has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a ₹20 crore fraud case. The former Congress MP from Moradabad, Azharuddin, who hails from Hyderabad, is reportedly entangled in a money laundering investigation related to financial mismanagement at the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA).

Azharuddin, who recently contested the Telangana Assembly elections on a Congress ticket but was unsuccessful, was expected to appear before the ED today. However, he requested more time, citing his involvement in election campaigning in Maharashtra.

The allegations against Azharuddin include misappropriation of HCA funds, a complaint originally lodged by HCA CEO Sunil Kanth Bose. The case centers around irregularities in the construction of the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, where a private company was allegedly awarded a contract at an inflated price.

This is not the first high-profile case for the ED in Telangana. On September 27, the agency conducted raids at the residences of Telangana Congress leader Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and others in a money laundering case involving over ₹100 crore.

Two other former cricketers, Shivlal Yadav and Arshad Ayub, are also under the ED’s scrutiny in connection with the ongoing investigation.
