Warangal, October 8, 2024: A protest complaint was lodged with Warangal Commissioner of Police, Amber Kishore Jha, against Yati Narsinghanand for delivering hateful speech targeting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The complaint was filed under the leadership of Syed Shah Ghulam Afzal Bayabani, also known as Khusro Pasha, representing the Millat Coordination Committee, Warangal.
Protest Demands:
Speaking to the media, Khusro Pasha urged the Supreme Court of India to take suo moto action against individuals like Yati Narsinghanand. He emphasized, “We can remain hungry, we can even sacrifice our lives, but we will never tolerate even a single word spoken against Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”
The protesters demanded that Yati Narsinghanand be imprisoned for life due to his repeated offensive remarks, which have hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the country. Several prominent religious, political, and social figures from Warangal city participated in the protest, voicing their outrage and calling for strict legal action.
Khusro Pasha also encouraged Muslim youth to remain calm and patient, stressing the need for legal action, saying, “We will fight this battle through legal means, and victory will be ours.”
Historical Record of FIRs Against Yati Narsinghanand:
- January 2021: An FIR was filed in Ghaziabad for inflammatory statements inciting violence against Muslims.
- March 2021: An FIR was registered in Delhi for his hate speech during a religious gathering, calling for violence against the Muslim community.
- August 2021: A third FIR was lodged in Haridwar for derogatory remarks targeting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
- November 2022: Booked in Meerut for offensive language against Islam during a public address.
- February 2023: A fresh complaint was filed in Lucknow after a viral video showed him making provocative comments, threatening communal harmony.
These repeated incidents of hate speech highlight a pattern of incitement, yet despite multiple FIRs, he has not been held accountable, which has led to widespread frustration and calls for stronger action.
