Hyderabad :- In an era where hate is being fueled both directly and indirectly across the country, Subhan Khan’s heroic act in Telangana stands as a powerful rebuttal to such divisiveness. By saving nine lives during the devastating floods, Subhan Khan delivered a strong blow to those spreading hatred. He didn’t stop to question the religion of those stranded; instead, he acted on pure humanity, setting an exemplary standard.
At a time when bulldozers are often used as instruments of destruction by various state governments, Subhan Khan transformed one into a beacon of hope. He emerged as a hero after using a bulldozer to rescue nine people trapped on a flooded bridge in Telangana, as the state government’s efforts to arrange a helicopter rescue were thwarted by bad weather.
The incident took place in Telangana’s Khammam district, where torrential rains had caused the Munneru River to overflow, leading to severe flooding in low-lying areas. Nine people found themselves stranded on the Prakash Nagar bridge as water levels rose dangerously. They recorded a desperate plea for help, urging the state government to rescue them. Although a helicopter was dispatched, it couldn’t reach them due to adverse weather conditions.
With no aid in sight, Subhan Khan took it upon himself to act. Despite warnings from others about the risks involved, Khan drove his bulldozer onto the flooded bridge to save those trapped. He famously remarked, “If I die, it is one life, but if I return, I will save nine.”
Khan’s bold move paid off, and he successfully rescued all nine individuals. A video of the rescue, shared on social media, captured the intense moments. In the video, a voice, believed to be Khan’s daughter, can be heard saying, “I am shivering, my daddy, he managed to do what he set out to.”
Subhan Khan’s act of bravery has been widely celebrated, making him a symbol of selfless courage in the face of danger.
