KCR Warns of Singareni’s Sale by Modi and Revanth

0

BRS Chief K Chandrashekar Rao delivered a scathing rebuke on Friday, alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy are poised to dismantle Singareni immediately after the Lok Sabha elections. Accusing Revanth of colluding with Modi’s associate, Adani, KCR cautioned the public against the impending destruction of state resources. Speaking at a rally in Ramagundam in support of Kuppula Eshwar, Rao condemned the policies of both the PM and CM, asserting that their actions jeopardize the state’s well-being.

Expressing grave concern, KCR revealed his efforts to expand Singareni by sending its director to Australia and Indonesia, contrasting with Revanth’s purported intent to sell it off. Emphasizing the dire consequences if Singareni were to be destroyed, he rallied support for BRS MPs, pledging a staunch defense of the institution. Urging unity in times of crisis, KCR underscored the importance of electing representatives who prioritize the state’s interests.

Recalling past confrontations with Modi over coal procurement from Adani’s firm, KCR accused Revanth of inviting Adani into the state after his visit to Switzerland. He further alleged Modi’s agenda to privatize vital resources and divert Godavari waters to Tamil Nadu, criticizing CM Revanth’s silence on these issues.

Responding to his recent ban, KCR questioned the fairness of the action, pointing out the lack of repercussions for derogatory remarks made by Revanth and hate speech from Modi and Amit Shah. Accusing national parties of collusion in response to BRS’s growing popularity, KCR predicted a less favorable outcome for BJP in the upcoming elections, urging voters to exercise discernment.

CM Revanth Reddy Challenges KCR to Discussion on Rythu Bharosa

0

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has thrown down the gauntlet to KCR, inviting him for a discussion on Rythu Bharosa and other welfare measures. Asserting his government’s dedication to supporting agricultural communities, Reddy declared that Rythu Bharosa funds would be dispersed to all farmers by the 9th of the month.

In a bold move, Reddy vowed to ensure timely payments to farmers and pledged to etch a symbolic martyr’s stupa on the ground should these promises go unfulfilled. Furthermore, he assured that the farmer loan waiver program would be finalized before August 15, aiming to ease agricultural debt burdens and provide crucial relief to farmers in distress.

Brushing off criticisms from adversaries, Reddy refuted claims of potential state bankruptcy due to proposed loan waivers, underlining the paramount importance of prioritizing farmer welfare and maintaining financial stability in the agricultural sector.

This challenge by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy injects a fresh dynamic into the ongoing political discourse surrounding farmer support and economic policies. As the deadline approaches for the implementation of these initiatives, all eyes will be trained on the government’s ability to fulfill its commitments and uphold promises made to the farming community.

JD(S) MLA H.D. Revanna Arrested from Father Deve Gowda’s Residence in Kidnap Case

0

In a significant development, H.D. Revanna, a MLA representing JD(S), was apprehended by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Saturday. The arrest came after the People’s Representative Court rejected his plea for relief, following allegations in a kidnap case from K R Nagar, Mysuru district. Revanna, who is accused number one in the case, was taken into custody from the residence of his father, former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda.

The victim, purportedly kidnapped on April 29, was located at a farmhouse in Hunsur, Mysuru district, and subsequently escorted to Bengaluru by SIT officials. While Revanna’s anticipatory bail plea was under consideration, the Court’s refusal for interim relief facilitated his arrest, scheduled for May 6.

This development coincided with the SIT’s disclosure to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah of their intent to engage the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in locating JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, who remains at large amidst allegations of sexual assault.

The investigation also revealed that the SIT conducted a mahazar at H.D. Revanna’s residence in Holenarispur, Hassan district, where multiple videos were allegedly recorded by the MP involving victims. Accompanying the SIT officials were the victim and her mother, who had lodged a complaint against both Prajwal Revanna and H.D. Revanna.

Further intensifying the inquiry, the SIT issued a notice to Bhavani Revanna, H.D. Revanna’s wife, mandating her appearance for questioning as and when necessary.

Former MLC Quits BRS, Alleges Conspiracy to Turn Hyderabad into Union Territory

Former Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), R. Ananda Bhaskar, has raised serious concerns, alleging a conspiracy aimed at transforming Hyderabad into a Union Territory. Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi, Bhaskar asserted his determination to spearhead a movement against any such attempts.

Following his resignation from the Bharatiya Rashtriya Samithi (BRS) on Saturday, Bhaskar emphasized his intention to bring this issue to the attention of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao. Bhaskar, who shifted alliances from Congress to BJP before joining BRS, clarified that his departure was due to limited options, refraining from announcing his next political move.

Expressing appreciation for the administration led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Bhaskar commended the government’s efforts, particularly in advancing the caste census initiative. He pledged active involvement in public movements moving forward.

Simultaneously, former chairman of Vijaya Dairy, Loka Bhumareddy, tendered his resignation from BRS and switched allegiance to the Congress in a ceremony attended by Revanth Reddy. Bhumareddy, who served as the chairman of Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation, highlighted his five-year tenure at Vijaya Dairy post the formation of Telangana.

“Beating the Heat: Children Cool Off as Hyderabad Sizzles with Season’s Highest Temperature at Water Park”

In a scorching turn of events, Hyderabad saw the mercury soar to its peak this summer, marking the hottest day of the season so far. Across Telangana, blistering temperatures reached close to 47°C, with numerous districts, including Peddapalli, Suryapet, Jagtial, and Khammam, scorching at 46.70°C.

The Telangana State Development and Planning Society (TSDPS) revealed that Quthbullapur in Hyderabad recorded the highest maximum temperature at 44.20°C, a one-degree rise from the previous day. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) echoed this, forecasting the persistence of the ongoing heatwave for the next four days across the state.

Officials from the IMD sounded alarms, noting that Hyderabad’s temperatures surpassed records from the last two years, with further warnings of continued heatwave conditions before an anticipated drop in temperatures. However, projections suggest another surge towards the month’s end, extending possibly into early June.

As the heatwave tightened its grip, 29 districts landed under a red alert, registering readings above 45°C. Adilabad, Medak, Sangareddy, and Hyderabad itself recorded temperatures exceeding 44°C, warranting an orange alert for these regions.

“Unveiling the Dilemma: Muslim Representation in Indian Politics Amidst Lok Sabha Elections”

0

The ongoing Lok Sabha election has become a focal point for renewed scrutiny regarding Muslim representation in Indian politics. Despite being celebrated as the world’s largest democratic festival, the issue of Muslim political participation has become increasingly contentious.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has adopted campaign tactics that lean towards communal provocations, contributing to the polarization of voters. Meanwhile, opposition parties, notably the Congress, have been hesitant to actively engage with Muslim political aspirations. This reluctance to recognize Muslims as legitimate political stakeholders aggravates an already intricate situation.

India boasts the world’s third-largest Muslim population, yet their representation in politics has consistently lagged behind. Since 1952, Muslims have held less than 6% of Lok Sabha seats and slightly over 10.5% in the Rajya Sabha.

Examining recent elections provides context to the current scenario. The 2014 polls occurred amidst heightened communal tensions following the Muzaffarnagar riots, which the BJP capitalized on to polarize voters. Similarly, in 2019, events such as the Pulwama attack and Balakot airstrike fueled nationalist fervor and communal divisions, ultimately benefiting the BJP.

In the present election cycle, despite the absence of recent communal incidents, the BJP has invoked religious sentiments and misrepresented the Congress’s manifesto. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s accusations against the Congress of favoring Muslims have intensified tensions further.

The controversy surrounding Muslim representation reignited following the resignation of Maharashtra Congress’ working president, Arif Naseem Khan, from the star campaigners’ panel. Khan’s protest against the lack of Muslim candidates nominated by the MVA coalition underscores a broader trend of historically low Muslim representation in Congress’ Lok Sabha candidates.

While Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge assured Khan of compensation through Rajya Sabha nominations, discontent persists. The limited number of Muslim candidates fielded by Congress in the current Lok Sabha polls, particularly in Maharashtra, has raised concerns among Muslim leaders.

The fragmentation of Muslim votes among secular candidates has historically favored the BJP, enabling victories even in constituencies with substantial Muslim populations. Addressing this disparity requires concerted efforts from secular parties to field Muslim candidates proportionate to population ratios and for Muslim communities to unite behind such candidates. Such actions have the potential to reshape electoral outcomes and ensure more inclusive representation in Indian politics.

Warangal Rally: KCR Condemns BJP’s Betrayal, Exposes Congress’s Extortion Scheme

0

KCR launches a scathing attack on BJP, accusing PM Modi of failing to fulfill promises and endangering Telangana’s interests, particularly by allegedly planning to divert Godavari River water and relocating vital projects away from the state.

Warangal :- In a spirited address during his Warangal roadshow, BRS president and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao lashed out at the Congress, alleging widespread corruption and negligence under its governance in Telangana.

KCR accused Congress leaders of engaging in systematic extortion from real estate developers, levying taxes on every square foot of construction in the state. He further criticized the administration for obstructing new construction projects and withholding occupancy certificates unless hefty payments were made to party members.

The former CM did not spare former Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, accusing him of political betrayal and predicting his imminent disqualification for defection as per a purported Supreme Court ruling. Rao declared confidence in his party’s candidate, T Rajaiah, to triumph in the ensuing by-elections in Station Ghanpur Assembly constituency.

Highlighting the failures of the Congress regime, KCR pointed to escalating crises in power supply, irrigation, drinking water, and agricultural losses within a mere five months of Congress assuming power. He emphasized the disconnect between the government’s promises, such as Kalyana Lakshmi scheme and Rythu Bandhu, and their actual implementation, eliciting a resounding denial from the crowd.

Launching a scathing critique of the BJP, KCR labeled the party as a looming threat to Telangana’s interests. He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of reneging on numerous pledges, including the deposit of Rs. 15 lakh per family and the establishment of a Railway Coach Factory in Kazipet. Moreover, he condemned the BJP’s alleged plans to divert Godavari River water to Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, urging the state government to resist such encroachments on Telangana’s resources.

In closing, K Chandrashekhar Rao rallied against what he perceived as political opportunism and affirmed his commitment to safeguarding the interests of Telangana against external threats and internal malfeasance.

“Muh Kholunga Na…… Asaduddin Owaisi’s Fiery Response to Anurag Thakur’s Remarks” Video Available

0

Hyderabad :- In a charged atmosphere at his Hyderabad election rally, Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of All India Majlis e Ittehad Ul Muslimeen (AIMIM), launched a scathing rebuttal against Union Minister Anurag Thakur’s recent remarks during his visit to the city.

Addressing the crowd, Owaisi vehemently rejected Thakur’s comparison of him to Aurangzeb, questioning the relevance of such historical figures to his identity. He declared, “What is my connection to Aurangzeb and Babar? What is my connection to these emperors of the past? Are you not from the Aryan race?” Owaisi’s fiery rhetoric left no room for doubt as he vowed to astound his critics with his forthcoming words.

Expanding on his stance, Owaisi championed the rights of India’s indigenous communities, asserting that the nation rightfully belongs to the Adivasis and Dravidians. He condemned the upper caste narrative, labeling it as an assertion of arrogance. “Calling me ‘Babar ki Aulaad’ and relating me to Aurangzeb and Babar is the arrogance of the upper class,” he declared, rallying the crowd against entrenched social hierarchies.

Asserting the pivotal role of Muslims in India’s freedom struggle, Owaisi passionately highlighted historical contributions. He challenged the prevalent narrative, reminding the audience that the country’s liberation was not orchestrated by those affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He specifically referenced Maulvi Ismail, the Imam of the Makkah Masjid in Hyderabad, who led Muslims in revolt against colonial rule.

Moreover, Owaisi accused Thakur of disrespecting the people of Hyderabad, eliciting strong reactions from the crowd. He then turned the spotlight on the audience, questioning their aspirations for the future. He asked whether they desired five years of unemployment, Hindutva rule, and the persecution of minority practices under the current government. The crowd’s emphatic response of “nakko” reverberated through the rally grounds, signaling their rejection of divisive politics and commitment to inclusivity.

KCR Family Absent from Electoral Arena for the First Time in Two Decades

0

In a significant departure from the norm, the family of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) is conspicuously absent from the Lok Sabha election fray for the first time in over two decades. Notably, no member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) founder’s family has submitted nominations for the upcoming May 13 polls in the state. This marks a notable deviation from the trend set since the inception of TRS (now BRS) in 2001, wherein the KCR family has actively participated in electoral contests.

Since 2004, either the former chief minister himself or a family member has contested in every Parliament and Assembly election. KCR, who founded TRS to spearhead the Telangana movement, has historically contested from Karimnagar for Lok Sabha and Siddipet for Assembly. His political journey saw him ascend to Parliament and subsequently serve as a minister in the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre.

In the absence of KCR, his nephew and TRS stalwart Harish Rao took the reins, successfully winning the Siddipet by-election. Over the years, KCR’s strategic maneuvers and electoral victories have been instrumental in advancing the TRS agenda and consolidating power in the newly formed state of Telangana.

However, recent political developments have ushered in a paradigm shift. Despite TRS’ sustained presence in state politics, KCR’s daughter Kavitha’s defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections signaled a turning tide. Subsequent changes, including the rebranding of TRS to BRS and electoral setbacks in 2022, have prompted a recalibration of priorities, with a renewed focus on state-level politics.

Amidst speculation surrounding potential candidacies, KCR’s decision to abstain from the Lok Sabha elections underscores a strategic pivot towards consolidating power within the state. As the seasoned politician navigates the complex political landscape, the absence of the KCR family from the electoral arena marks a notable chapter in Telangana’s political narrative.
