Amid concerns related to the upcoming parliamentary elections in April or May next year, the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education is contemplating the prompt execution of annual intermediate exams. Unlike past examinations, where plans were still in the formulation stage, the board is actively working on scheduling the exams, which are proposed to begin on March 1, 2024.
The decision on expediting the annual intermediate exams is currently under consideration. The board anticipates challenges in conducting exams and scrutinizing answer sheets during the election period. Consequently, meticulous planning is underway to ensure the timely execution of the annual exams.
Should the annual intermediate exams proceed swiftly, the evaluation of answer sheets is expected to be streamlined, minimizing potential issues in this regard. Notably, the previous year’s exams commenced on March 15, 2023, while this time, there is a proposition to initiate exams from March 1. Practical exams are also likely to be held in February.
The forthcoming decisions regarding the annual exams will be made by the newly appointed Minister of Education.
