Hyderabad :- In a dramatic turn of events, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) purportedly exerted pressure on Telangana Chief Minister KCR for an alliance in the state’s upcoming Lok Sabha elections. When KCR stood his ground, refusing the alliance proposal, the BJP allegedly resorted to arresting MLC Kavitha, the Chief Minister’s daughter, on what KCR’s supporters claim are false charges.

Addressing a Secunderabad LS Review Meeting on Tuesday, Shaik Abdullah Sohail voiced staunch support for KCR, emphasizing the Chief Minister’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation’s secular and democratic values. Despite facing immense political pressure, KCR reportedly chose to uphold his principles, opting to see his own daughter imprisoned rather than capitulating to the BJP’s demands.

The purported arrest of MLC Kavitha by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has stirred controversy, with KCR’s supporters alleging it as a blatant attempt to coerce the Chief Minister into an alliance with the BJP. KCR’s steadfast refusal to yield, even in the face of personal sacrifice, has garnered admiration from his supporters, who view his stance as emblematic of his commitment to the state’s autonomy and democratic ethos.

As political tensions escalate in Telangana ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, KCR’s defiance against alleged political coercion serves as a rallying cry for those advocating for the preservation of the state’s political sovereignty and democratic principles.
