Hyderabad :- Speaking at a gathering of party leaders and workers at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad, KTR asserted, “In contrast to Rahul Gandhi’s ‘chaukidar chor hai’ claims, Revanth Reddy is saying PM Modi is his elder brother.”
KTR further predicted that the Congress is likely to secure a meager 40 seats in the upcoming polls, making Revanth Reddy the first Congress leader from Telangana to switch allegiance to the BJP post-election.
In a scathing critique of the Telangana Chief Minister, KTR accused Reddy of diverting a staggering sum of Rs 2,500 crore to his party’s high command in Delhi in preparation for the Lok Sabha elections.
“The Chief Minister sent a fund of Rs 2,500 crore to his party high command in Delhi for election expenditure. We have a Chief Minister who speaks like a pickpocket but fails to provide able administration to the people of the state,” KTR was quoted by local media as saying.
KTR also alleged that the Congress in the state has been raising corruption issues from the former BRS government to divert public attention from corruption within Revanth Reddy’s government.
