Hyderabad, September 18 2024 :– The Hyderabad Traffic Police have issued a comprehensive traffic advisory in anticipation of multiple processions marking the Milad-Un-Nabi celebrations on Thursday, September 19, 2024. The advisory, which covers several parts of the city, will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with traffic diversions and stoppages planned along the routes of the processions.
Procession Details
The main procession will begin at Syed Quadri Chaman, Gulam Murtuza Colony, Falaknuma, and proceed through Falaknuma X Roads, Aliabad X Roads, Lal Darwaza X Roads, Charminar, Gulzar House, Madina, Nayapool Bridge, Salarjung Museum, Purani Haveli, and end at Volta Hotel Bibi Bazar. Several other processions from different parts of the city will merge with the main event at Pathergatti, Charminar, and Shahalibanda.
Additionally, another major procession will begin at Mecca Masjid and culminate at Haj House, Nampally, while another will travel from Pathergatti to Alijah Kotla.
Traffic Restrictions
To ensure the smooth flow of the processions, traffic will be diverted or stopped on a need basis along key routes throughout the day. The affected routes include:
- MBNR X Road towards Kandikalgate, Phisalbanda, and Old Kurnool Road.
- Engine Bowli towards Goshala and Syed Quadri Chaman road.
- Shamsheergunj towards Kalapather ‘Y’ Junction and Ali Nagar Jahanuma.
- Nagulchintha towards Lal Darwaza Temple, Chatrinaka, and Sudha Talkies.
- Rajesh Medical Hall towards Khilwat and Akkanna Madanna Temple, Moghalpura.
- Madina towards City College, Afzalgunj Bridge, and Shivaji Bridge.
- Several other locations across the city will also experience diversions, including Sheer Bhatil Kaman, Volga Hotel, and Etebar Chowk.
