Thousands Attend Hajj Pilgrims’ Training Program in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, December 22: A grand training program for Hajj pilgrims was conducted on Sunday at the High Garden Function Hall, Hyderabad, under the aegis of the Telangana State Hajj Committee. The event, attended by thousands of male and female pilgrims, emphasized the spiritual significance and sincerity required for the sacred journey of Hajj.

The program was presided over by Maulana Syed Shah Afzal Pasha, President of the Telangana State Hajj Committee. Distinguished speakers included Maulana Mufti Khalil Ahmed, Chancellor of Jamia Nizamia, Maulana Haneef bin Mohammed Al-Humami, Imam and Khatib of Shahi Masjid Bagh-e-Aam, and T. Iqbal (IPS), Secretary of the Minority Welfare Department, Telangana Government.

The event commenced with a Na’at recitation by Qari Mohammed Naim Ahmed and a Quranic recitation by Maulana Mohammed Ansar Anwar. In his address, Maulana Mufti Khalil Ahmed highlighted the significance of Hajj and Umrah, urging pilgrims to approach the journey with sincerity and devotion. He elaborated on the rituals, explaining that Hajj comprises three obligations and six essential elements, while Umrah includes two obligations and two essential duties.

T. Iqbal (IPS) assured attendees of the state government’s commitment to ensuring seamless Hajj arrangements. He expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Telangana for his unwavering support and stated that preparations for Hajj 2025 would also meet the highest standards.

General Secretary of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, Telangana, Hafiz Sabir Ahmed, urged pilgrims to resolve familial disputes and purify their hearts before undertaking the sacred journey.

The program also highlighted the immense spiritual reward of performing prayers at Masjid al-Haram, with a single prayer equating to the reward of 100,000 prayers elsewhere.

The Telangana State Hajj Committee, in collaboration with the High Garden Function Hall administration, facilitated the arrangements for the event, which concluded with heartfelt prayers for the pilgrims and the well-being of the Muslim community.
