“Amidst the rich tapestry of our Indian culture, unity emerges as the timeless thread that weaves together the diverse fabric of our nation.”

The Telangana Chief Minister, K Chandrashekhar Rao, is set to inaugurate three distinct places of worship on August 25th. These religious sites include the Nalla Pochamma temple, a mosque, and a church, all situated within the Dr BR Ambedkar Secretariat building complex.

These three sacred structures have been erected as integral components of the newly constructed Secretariat building.

Vemula Prashant Reddy, the Minister for Roads and Buildings, conducted an inspection of these religious edifices on August 19th. In a statement to the press, Minister Reddy elucidated that the prayer halls were erected in response to the Chief Minister’s appeal, with the intention of fostering religious harmony.

He went on to disclose that a substantial area spanning 2,300 yards was utilized for the construction of the temple, encompassing the Ganapati, Pochammagudi, Hanuman, and Shivalayam temples. Notably, the idols destined for these temples were sourced from Tirupati. To mark the temple’s inauguration, a reverential ‘yagam’ is scheduled to take place.

Furthermore, Minister Reddy affirmed that the mosque and the church would also be inaugurated in accordance with their respective faiths and rituals, led by their respective religious leaders. He lauded Telangana as a sterling exemplar of the “Ganga–Jamuni Tehzeeb,” signifying a unique cultural confluence.

Minister Prashant Reddy extolled the Chief Minister’s profound respect for all faiths, underscored by the provision of these sacred spaces within an enriched spiritual milieu, far surpassing their predecessors
