“India’s Soaring Success: Gaganyaan Mission Takes Flight”
In a significant development, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) triumphantly executed the Test Flight Abort Mission for the Gaganyaan mission on Saturday. This success came after the initial test flight faced an abrupt halt at 8:45 am due to an engine ignition problem.
ISRO Chief S Somanth, addressing the media, stated that the planned lift-off of the TV-D1 rocket could not proceed due to an anomaly in the engine ignition system. After meticulous analysis and corrections, the space agency rescheduled the launch for 10:00 Hrs.
At the appointed hour, ISRO successfully launched the test vehicle from Sriharikota. Chairman Somanath expressed his elation, declaring, “I am very happy to announce the successful accomplishment of Gaganyaan TV-D1 mission.” This achievement marks a significant milestone in India’s ambitious space exploration journey.
Union Minister Congratulates ISRO Scientists on TV-D1 Mission
Union Cabinet Minister Jitendra Singh felicitated ISRO scientists after the successful launch of the Ganganyaan TV-D1 mission. In a congratulatory message, Jitendra wrote, “Kudos ISRO for successfully accomplishing maiden Test Vehicle Flight TV-D1. This is the first step in the last leg of the journey towards India’s Crewed Human Spacecraft mission Gaganyaan.” The success of this mission reflects India’s growing capabilities in space exploration.
