Mahabubnagar :- In his inaugural public address in Kodangal constituency since taking office, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced on Wednesday that the scheme to provide LPG cylinders at Rs.500 would commence within a week. He further committed to completing the distribution of investment support under Rythu Bharosa to farmers by March 16. Reddy reiterated his pledge to fulfill promises, including providing 200 units of free power and granting a crop loan waiver of up to Rs 2 lakh in the near future.

However, amidst his optimistic outlook, Revanth Reddy took a critical stance during his speech in Kosgi. He asserted that neither the BRS nor the BJP had the right to seek votes in the Mahabubnagar Parliamentary constituency during the upcoming Lok Sabha polls due to their failure in developing the Palamuru region. Reddy accused both parties of neglecting Palamuru while emphasizing Congress’ endeavors for the region’s progress.

“We will fulfill all our promises,” Revanth Reddy emphasized, underscoring his dedication to the electorate.

Reddy criticized the previous BRS administration for neglecting Palamuru’s development and chastised BJP MPs for failing to fulfill promises made to Telangana’s people. He questioned BJP’s contribution to the state’s development, particularly in the erstwhile Mahabubnagar district. Reddy reminded the audience of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pledge to grant national project status to the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme during the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, highlighting the lack of progress since then.

“I pledged to end 70 years of suffering in the Palamuru region, and I am here to fulfill that promise. I obtained approvals for the Narayanpet-Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme in 2014 and today laid its foundation,” Reddy declared. He urged Congress activists to counter BRS and BJP’s efforts and ensure the victory of Congress candidate Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy with a significant majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
