Renowned Journalist Aziz Burney’s Book “Hind Nama” Launched

Mumbra / Mumbai :- Under the banner of the Urdu Literary Forum, a monthly literary gathering, a significant literary tradition, took place. Dr. Asadullah Khan has been continuing this tradition for nearly ten years, a legacy started by his late father, Nauman Imam (Khan Naseeb), in the 1980s.

On Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 8 PM, Dr. Asadullah Khan hosted the launch of the renowned journalist Aziz Burney’s book “Hind Nama” at the Nauman Imam Auditorium of the English High School and Junior College, organized by the Unique Educational Society under the banner of the Urdu Literary Forum.

Prominent guests included Obaid Azam Azmi, Irfan Jafri, Ibrahim Khalil Abidi, Abdullah Masroor, Imtiaz Bastavi, Salim Rashk, Tabish Rampuri, Tafseer Alam, among others. Journalists from various newspapers, teachers, poets, writers, and Urdu-speaking individuals also attended. In the final segment of the program, attendees engaged in a Q&A session with Aziz Burney about “Hind Nama” and his bold journalistic journey.

The session was presided over by eminent journalist Saeed Hameed, with Ejaz Hindi sharing his thoughts on “Hind Nama.” The program conveners, journalists Hussain Sultan and Abdulrahman Chaudhry, welcomed the guests with flowers and shawls. The event was compered by Ziaullah Khan.
