K.T. Rama Rao Rings in 2024 by Sharing Lunch with GHMC Sanitation Workers

Hyderabad : In a heartwarming gesture on the inaugural day of the new year, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K. T. Rama Rao extended gratitude to the diligent sanitation workers of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The former Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister engaged in a lunch gathering with the sanitation workforce at the BRS headquarters, Telangana Bhavan.

Prominent Attendees:

GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalaxmi, affiliated with BRS, joined K.T. Rama Rao at the lunch meeting, fostering camaraderie with the frontline workers. The event saw KTR expressing his appreciation for the GHMC sanitation team, marking the commencement of the new year with a shared meal. The BRS leader even took part in selfie sessions with some of the sanitation workers, capturing the memorable occasion.

New Year Well-Wishes:

Simultaneously, BRS leaders seized the opportunity to extend New Year greetings to K.T. Rama Rao. Former minister T. Srinivas Yadav was among those who personally met and greeted KTR, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

Visits to Ailing Leadership:

In a separate event, Rajya Sabha member Vaddiraju Ravichandra paid a visit to BRS President and former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao at his Hyderabad residence. The meeting aimed to convey New Year wishes to KCR, who is currently recuperating from a recent hip replacement surgery. KCR had undergone the procedure following a hip fracture sustained during a fall at his farmhouse on December 8.

As the BRS leadership shares moments of camaraderie and extends well-wishes, the start of 2024 holds significance for both the political leaders and the sanitation workers, symbolizing unity and appreciation for the contributions of each member of the community.
