Hyderabad, December 3, 2024 – Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) is gearing up to host its much-awaited 15-hour Hackathon, “Hack Revolution 2025,” on Sunday, January 5, 2025. Organized by the Computer Society of India (CSI) student chapter in collaboration with MJCET’s Entrepreneurship Cell and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), this annual event aims to foster innovation and technical creativity among students.
As part of the event’s promotions, the Hack Revolution 2025 poster was unveiled today in the college seminar hall in the presence of principal, faculty, students, and representatives of ACES India Pvt. Ltd.,
Exciting Tracks and Grand Prizes
This year’s Hackathon is bigger and better, featuring four competition tracks:
- Open Innovation – Software
- Waste Management and Rural Development
- Healthcare
- Open Innovation – Hardware
Each track carries a cash prize of ₹75,000, with a cumulative grand prize of ₹3,00,000 up for grabs. The event is proudly sponsored by ACES India Pvt. Ltd., a global leader in digital neutral infrastructure and engineering solutions in telecom and software domains.
Platform for Creativity and Problem Solving
Hack Revolution provides a unique platform for students to showcase their problem-solving and programming skills. During this 15-hour tech marathon, participants will tackle real-world problem statements, demonstrating innovation, creativity, and the potential social impact of their solutions.
Judging Panel and Participation Details
The judging panel, comprising industry experts and academicians, will evaluate solutions based on innovation, feasibility, and overall impact. Students can form teams of 4 to 6 members to participate in this challenging yet rewarding event.
Pre-Hackathon Workshops
To help participants prepare, a series of pre-hackathon workshops will be conducted, focusing on enhancing the necessary technical skills.
