Hyderabad, December 4, 2024: Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma visited the Mahila Dakshata Samithi (MDS) Educational Institutions, applauding their four decades of commitment to women’s education and empowerment.
During the visit, the Governor recognized the achievements of five outstanding students. Among them were K. Sai Satya Veni, who secured the State 2nd Rank in BIE March 2024, Shruthi, the top scorer in Degree Final Year, and Aleyamma Sara, the topper in B.Sc Nursing. National-level yoga participants B. Niharika and G. Madhavi also received accolades.
Governor Varma praised MDS for transforming the lives of underprivileged women, aligning with the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and Mahatma Gandhi. He highlighted initiatives such as the Suman Nilayam Hostel and the upcoming Nirmala Goenka Girls Hostel as pivotal to their mission.
Dr. Saroj Bajaj, President of MDS, expressed gratitude for the Governor’s encouragement, reiterating the institution’s dedication to empowering women. With over 10,000 graduates now contributing to fields like healthcare, technology, and banking, MDS continues to drive positive change in society.
