Hyderabad, August 27, 2024 – Prakruthi Kambam, crowned Femina Miss India Telangana 2024, recently spoke about her vision and experiences in a media interaction held at FTCCI. Kambam highlighted that beauty pageants go beyond physical appearance, celebrating attributes like personality, talent, intelligence, and social consciousness.

“Beauty pageants are not just about outer appearance; they encompass much more. They are a celebration of beauty and brains, encompassing personality, talent, character, intelligence, and social consciousness,” Kambam remarked. She described the pageant process, which includes private interviews with judges and public on-stage questions.

Kambam’s journey is marked by resilience and growth. A versatile model, actor, dancer, and choreographer, she has leveraged her passion for the arts to build a diverse career. Despite personal challenges, she found solace and strength through dance, sports, and creative expression, with nature serving as a source of healing.

Born in Bangalore and now based in Hyderabad for her professional career, Prakruthi holds a deep connection to both Telangana and Karnataka. “Hyderabad holds a special place in my heart as my father’s hometown,” she shared.

Reflecting on her journey, Kambam emphasized the transformative impact of the pageant experience. “After enduring years of abuse and questioning my worth, I chose to immerse myself in activities that allowed me to grow positively. This pageant has not only been a personal achievement but has also taught me invaluable life lessons. It has helped me build confidence, enhance my public speaking skills, and instilled a sense of discipline and teamwork. Pageants offer young women an opportunity to engage in community service, charitable work, and personal development. With the support of family, I emerged stronger.”

For Kambam, the pageant is a platform to showcase cultural values and traditions on a national stage. “Music is an integral part of my life; it’s something I cannot live without,” she added.

“My ultimate goal is to make a significant impact in society and leave a lasting legacy,” Kambam concluded.
