Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has thrown down the gauntlet to KCR, inviting him for a discussion on Rythu Bharosa and other welfare measures. Asserting his government’s dedication to supporting agricultural communities, Reddy declared that Rythu Bharosa funds would be dispersed to all farmers by the 9th of the month.

In a bold move, Reddy vowed to ensure timely payments to farmers and pledged to etch a symbolic martyr’s stupa on the ground should these promises go unfulfilled. Furthermore, he assured that the farmer loan waiver program would be finalized before August 15, aiming to ease agricultural debt burdens and provide crucial relief to farmers in distress.

Brushing off criticisms from adversaries, Reddy refuted claims of potential state bankruptcy due to proposed loan waivers, underlining the paramount importance of prioritizing farmer welfare and maintaining financial stability in the agricultural sector.

This challenge by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy injects a fresh dynamic into the ongoing political discourse surrounding farmer support and economic policies. As the deadline approaches for the implementation of these initiatives, all eyes will be trained on the government’s ability to fulfill its commitments and uphold promises made to the farming community.
