Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, launched a fierce attack, stating that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) does not hold a monopoly over Hindutva or Hindus. In a packed parliament, Gandhi tore apart the facade of Modi, Shah, and their BJP allies, causing a significant uproar. This led to a situation where, for the first time in the last ten years, Amit Shah had to seek protection from the Lok Sabha Speaker. Gandhi deserves commendation for this bold move.

During the discussion on the President’s address, Rahul Gandhi scratched away at the divinity attributed to Modi. Gandhi said, “These people are inciting riots in the name of Hindutva. They are spreading jealousy and hatred. True Hindutva supports truth with restraint, liberality, and courage.” Prime Minister Modi, visibly angered, accused Gandhi of insulting the Hindu community. To this, Gandhi sharply retorted, “Sir, you do not understand Hindutva. BJP does not mean Hindutva.” Modi’s expression was worth seeing. No one had dared to confront Modi and Shah in such a manner before. This duo has tried to keep the parliament under their control through terror and a ruthless majority, but with the emergence of a strong opposition under Gandhi’s leadership, the chariot of those misusing Hindutva has been overturned.

For ten years, Modi and Shah played on religious sentiments, dividing people. Gandhi also held a mirror to Lok Sabha Speaker Birla. “When I shook hands with you as the Leader of the Opposition, you stood tall, but when you shook hands with Modi, you bowed. This implies that democracy itself has bowed,” Gandhi remarked. His attack left the parliament’s sycophants and blind followers in a daze.

With one swift move, Gandhi left over 100 suspended MPs in an empty parliament to pass significant laws, shaking the very walls of a dormant parliament for the past decade. “I am not a biological son but a son of God, and I communicate directly with God,” Modi claims. Gandhi ridiculed this persona, questioning if demonetization was a direct message from God or if the order to hand over Mumbai airport to Adani also came from above. Modi and Shah had no choice but to seek protection from the Lok Sabha Speaker.

Narendra Modi became a subject of ridicule in the parliament because of his own actions. Despite manipulating his way to become Prime Minister, his leadership is now facing a decline. Gandhi revealed another truth: “Modi wanted to contest from Ayodhya. He commissioned three survey companies. All three reported that Modi should avoid Ayodhya as the people there would defeat him. Hence, he moved to Varanasi and somehow managed to win!” No one had mocked Modi this way before. Modi’s version of Hindutva promotes hatred and violence, pitting Hindus against Muslims. The PM did not visit the violence-hit Manipur even once. BJP spreads the poison of fear and hatred; this is neither nationalism nor Hindutva. Hinduism is cultured and sophisticated, virtues that BJP lacks.

During the election campaign, Modi spoke of “Muzaffarnagar,” warning that Muslims would snatch mangalsutras from your wives’ necks and take one of your buffaloes if you had two. Despite such inflammatory speeches, Modi did not receive Hindu votes. He faced crushing defeats in states like Maharashtra, West Bengal, Kerala, and Uttar Pradesh. Modi’s fake Hindutva failed, and on Monday, Rahul Gandhi crushed Modi-Shah in parliament.

On one side, there was Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Kiren Rijiju, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Bhupender Yadav, and on the other side, a lone Rahul Gandhi who outweighed them all. Gandhi shattered the arrogance of Modi and Shah in parliament.

Modi-Shah have been misusing agencies like the ED and CBI to terrorize the entire opposition. The time has come for these arrogant leaders to petition the Lok Sabha Speaker for protection from Rahul Gandhi, who is now the Leader of the Opposition. This is karma. Modi and Shah will face even worse days ahead. Stopping Gandhi is not easy; this message has surely reached the ED and CBI!
