“Medak Gears Up for ‘Pragathi Shankaravam’ as Chief Minister KCR Launches Election Drive”
Medak, August,22,2023 : Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao is set to inaugurate the “Pragathi Shankaravam” campaign, marking the commencement of the election campaign, in a significant event scheduled for Wednesday.
During a press interaction in Medak, Finance Minister T Harish Rao shared insights into the preparations for the Chief Minister’s program on Tuesday. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming public meeting, noting that it holds special significance as it’s the Chief Minister’s first public gathering following the candidate announcements.
Minister Harish Rao remarked that the announcement of the candidates had taken opposition parties by surprise, leaving them astonished.
In addition to the public meeting, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will inaugurate two pivotal initiatives on Wednesday. The Integrated District Offices Complex and the Superintendent of Police’s office will be officially inaugurated. Furthermore, he will initiate the distribution of increased pensions amounting to Rs 4,016 for physically challenged individuals. Additionally, the distribution of Aasara pensions to beedi workers will also be launched.
