Key Contenders for Hyderabad Lok Sabha Seats
The Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat sees a major contest between AIMIM’s Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP’s Madhavi Latha. The AIMIM has held this seat since 1984. Additionally, the Congress has fielded Sameer Waliullah, the Hyderabad district president, and the BRS has nominated Gaddam Srinivas.
Historically, Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi represented the constituency from 1984 to 1989 and again from 1989 to 2004. Asaduddin Owaisi has been the MP for Hyderabad since 2004. If he wins this election, it will mark his fifth consecutive term.
