Hyderabad : – In a recent development, YSRTP (Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party) General Secretary Thudi Devender Reddy addressed the media to provide clarity on the speculations surrounding YS Sharmila’s potential entry into the Congress party.
The meeting between YS Sharmila and key Congress leaders took place at the Lotus Pond office on Tuesday, where discussions about the merger of YSRTP into the Congress party occurred. Thudi Devender Reddy confirmed that YS Sharmila is set to officially join the Congress on Thursday. He hinted at the likelihood of her securing a significant position within the All India Congress Committee (AICC). Furthermore, he revealed that other YSRTP leaders would also be appointed to key positions.
Simultaneously, there is a growing buzz regarding the potential handover of the Andhra Pradesh Congress to Sharmila. This speculation has prompted several leaders, including Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy (RK), to express their intention to align with Sharmila.
