Hyderabad :-Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy (SUCP) witnessed a remarkable celebration as it hosted its annual Graduation Day alongside an engaging Alumni Meet. The event, held at Ghulam Ahmed Hall, SUES Green Campus in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, showcased the achievements and talents of the graduating students and alumni.
The Graduation Day ceremony, a momentous occasion for B.Pharm, Pharm.D, Pharm.D PB, and M.Pharm graduates, was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. R. Limbadri, Chairman of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE). In his address, Prof. Limbadri commended the students for choosing pharmacy as their profession and emphasized the abundant opportunities available in the field, particularly in Telangana. He encouraged the graduates to nurture ambition and strive for excellence, stating, “There should be fire in the belly to fly high in the sky.”
Mr. Mohd Waliulla, Chairman of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, honored the graduates, while Mr. Zafar Javeed, Honorary Secretary of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, administered the Pharmacist Oath. Prof. Limbadri also presented certificates to the top performers across various pharmacy disciplines.
The event was attended by Mr. Syed Abdul Wahab, Vice-Chairman, SUES; Mr. Masood Abdul Khader, Joint Secretary, SUES; Dr. Mir Akbar Ali Khan, Treasurer, SUES & Chairman, Governing Council, SUCP; Mr. Aamer Javeed and Mr. Baquar Hassan, Members of the Board of Governors, SUES; Mr. Faiq Ahmed, Member, SUES; and Dr. Anupama Koneru, Principal, Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy, among others.
Following the Graduation Day, SUCP continued the festivities with its Alumni Meet 2024, where former students gathered to reconnect and share their experiences. The alumni actively participated in various activities, including sports competitions, and were felicitated for their outstanding contributions. The evening concluded with vibrant cultural performances by current students, showcasing their diverse talents and enthusiasm.
The College Annual Day, led by Chairman of Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, Mr. Vali Ullah, and Dr. Mir Akbar Ali Khan, witnessed the distribution of awards to students who excelled in sports competitions. The Alumni Meet 2024, held post the Graduation Day, saw a strong turnout of former students who enthusiastically shared their feedback, further strengthening the bond with their alma mater.
The entire program was held in high spirits, reflecting the vibrant ethos of Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy and its commitment to nurturing excellence in pharmaceutical education and fostering a strong alumni community.
