Hyderabad: Three vehicles from the convoy of Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya were involved in a collision at Rajiv Gandhi International (RGI) Airport on Sunday, though no injuries or casualties were reported, according to police.
The incident occurred as the Governor’s convoy was en route to the airport from the city. As the convoy entered the airport premises, an SUV abruptly came in front of the pilot vehicle, forcing it to brake suddenly.
In a chain reaction, the following vehicles in the convoy were also forced to stop quickly, leading to two vehicles rear-ending the ones ahead of them.
As a result, three vehicles sustained damage in the crash. However, Governor Dattatreya was not harmed, and no occupants of the vehicles were injured.
The police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
