Hyderabad :- In a recent development, the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate has apprehended Ananta Kumar Barak, a resident of Odisha, for his involvement in the sale of Ganja-laced chocolates within Hyderabad. The arrest transpired in the Balanagar area, situated on the outskirts of the city.
Acting swiftly on received intelligence, Balanagar police executed a raid on Barak’s establishment, culminating in the confiscation of 140 Ganja-infused chocolates. Subsequent interrogation of Barak yielded a confession to peddling these illicit confections to laborers and students in the locality.
This occurrence is emblematic of a concerning trend permeating Hyderabad, where migrant laborers from Odisha purportedly introduce Ganja-laced chocolates into the city’s social fabric.
