MJCET’s AICTE-Funded VAANI Workshop Kicks Off with Focus on Next-Gen Communication Technologies

Hyderabad: Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology (MJCET) proudly announced the approval and funding of ₹2 lakhs from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for the “VAANI Workshop,” a landmark three-day event dedicated to exploring the frontiers of next-generation communication technologies. The workshop, hosted by the ECE department, will be held from 18th July 2024 to 20th July 2024 at the MJCET campus.

The inaugural event on Thursday was graced by distinguished guests, including Mohammed Ibrahim Ali Siddiqui, Member of the Board of Governors; Dr.Mahipal Singh Rawat Principal MJCET, Dr. Anupama Koneru, Principal, Sultan-ul-Uloom College of Pharmacy; Dr. Lakshmi Rawat, Director of Amjad Ali Khan College of Business Administration; Dr. Ayesha Naaz, HOD of ECE; Dr. Salma Fauzia, Associate Professor and Coordinator; and Ms. Maliha Naaz, Assistant Professor and Co-Coordinator. The release of “Channel ECE,” the yearly publication of events in the ECE Department, also took place during the inaugural function.

Under AICTE’s VAANI initiative (Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages), the workshop will delve into several cutting-edge areas in communication technology, all conducted in the Urdu language. The key themes of the workshop include 5G and 6G Technologies, Smart Sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), Cybersecurity, and Flexible Electronics.

The VAANI Workshop aims to provide a comprehensive platform for faculty, researchers, and industry professionals to gain insights from leading experts in these high-impact areas. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and discussions with thought leaders and innovators, all conducted in Urdu.

This event marks a significant step in advancing communication technology education and research, promoting the use of Indian languages in technical fields, and fostering collaboration between academia and industry.
