Hyderabad, 13,September 2024 :- City Police Commissioner C.V. Anand addressed a significant meeting held at Dargah Hazrat Syed Noori Shah Jeelani Chisti-Al-Qadiri in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad, on Friday. The consultation meeting, organized in coordination with prominent Ulmas and Muslim organizations, focused on preparations for the upcoming 1500th anniversary of Milad-un-Nabi, celebrating the birth of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H).
During his speech, C.V. Anand emphasized the importance of spreading the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). He noted that Milad-un-Nabi is a time to highlight the message of humanity, brotherhood, and compassion. Referring to the life of the Prophet, he shared a well-known story where an elderly woman used to place thorns on the Prophet’s path. Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) would remove the thorns without reacting. One day, when the thorns were absent, he visited her home to check on her well-being. This, Anand said, is the embodiment of love, kindness, and humanity that the Prophet preached.
C.V. Anand also reassured the gathering that the police force, along with other government agencies, would work closely with the community to ensure peaceful and harmonious celebrations. He called for maintaining the essence of Hyderabad’s Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb, the city’s rich cultural heritage of unity and diversity.
“Let us keep Hyderabad flourishing and joyful, where Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians live together in harmony,” Anand added, offering his heartfelt congratulations in advance for the Milad-un-Nabi celebrations.
The meeting was also attended by DCP (South) Sneha Mehra, Maulana Syed Sheikhan Ahmed Qadri Shuttari Kamil Pasha, President of the Markaz-e-Milad Juloos Committee, Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Muzaffar Hussain Khan Banda Nawaz, Ahmed Noori Shah, and other prominent figures from the Muslim community.
