
Hyderabad : – Today marked a significant milestone for Hyderabad’s transportation landscape with the launch of Mana Yatri, a community-driven auto and cab app offering zero-commission rides. Hosted at T-Hub Hyderabad, the launch ceremony witnessed the presence of government officials, drivers’ unions, and key figures from the city’s tech ecosystem.
In a bid to empower drivers and enhance the affordability and convenience of transportation in Hyderabad, Mana Yatri, in collaboration with ONDC, aims to revolutionize the way people commute in the city. With over 25,000 drivers already onboard, the app sets an ambitious target of enlisting 1 lakh drivers within the next three months.
CEO of T-Hub, Mr. Mahankali Srinivas Rao, hailed the launch as a testament to Hyderabad’s innovative spirit and the government’s commitment to driver empowerment and affordable mobility. Mr. Shaik Salauddin, Founder State President of Telangana Gig and Platform Workers Union (TGPWU), commended Mana Yatri for its efforts in creating a fair and respectful platform for drivers.
Mr. Madan Pillutla, Dean of ISB, lauded Mana Yatri for its role in bridging society, government, and business and leveraging technology to drive sustainable social impact. Mana Yatri, a part of the Namma Yatri family of apps developed by Juspay, aims to enhance first and last-mile connectivity by integrating with public transport and providing a seamless user experience.
Mr. Shan MS from Juspay emphasized Mana Yatri’s community-driven approach, which blends high-tech innovation with Hyderabad’s rich cultural diversity. The collaboration with ONDC underscores Mana Yatri’s commitment to fostering an open and inclusive digital economy, benefiting both drivers and customers.
With a focus on driver empowerment and integration with the city’s transportation network, Mana Yatri seeks to offer a holistic travel experience that transcends mere connectivity. As Hyderabad’s very own local app, Mana Yatri aspires to deepen community bonds and contribute to a sustainable and connected Hyderabad.
