Hyderabad January 3 : A significant fire broke out at an under-construction multi-storied building in Kokapet, Narsingi, located on the outskirts of the city. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
Incident Details
The fire occurred at a building within the My Home project in the Neopolis layout. According to preliminary reports, police suspect that an electrical short circuit during ongoing construction and installation activities might have triggered the blaze, which rapidly escalated.
Thick plumes of smoke from the fire ballooned upwards and were visible from distant areas, causing concern among locals and passersby.
Quick Response by Workers and Authorities
Construction workers on-site were the first to notice the fire and promptly alerted both the fire department and the police. Multiple fire engines and snorkel cranes were dispatched to the scene to combat the flames. The Narsingi police have launched an investigation into the incident.
