Hyderabad: Addressing the BRS cadre during the Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency meeting in Medipally near Medchal, BRS working president KT Rama Rao called for voters to defeat the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He criticized the BJP for its communal nature and lack of contribution to Telangana over the last decade.
Rama Rao highlighted the difference in approach between former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who built the Yadadri temple without political exploitation, and BJP leaders who he accused of using Lord Ram’s name for political gain.
He emphasized the BRS’s devotion to Lord Ram but stated they would never misuse his name for votes, asserting that Lord Ram belongs to all Hindus, not just the BJP.
Rama Rao criticized Narendra Modi, calling him the most inhuman Prime Minister for his handling of migrant laborers during the lockdown and accused him of favoring crony capitalists over farmers.
He also accused Modi and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of conspiring against the BRS, alleging that Reddy plans to join the BJP after the elections with 30 Congress MLAs.
Rama Rao expressed disappointment in the current government’s inability to fulfill promises, particularly regarding water supply, contrasting it with the BRS’s previous achievements.
