Ensuring Integrity in the Examination Process

Hyderabad :- Students gearing up for the Intermediate Public Examinations, set to commence on February 28, are cautioned against engaging in any form of malpractice, including copying or impersonation. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TS BIE) issues a stern warning, signaling its intent to pursue criminal cases against individuals found guilty of such transgressions.

Candidates caught resorting to copying, malpractice, or impersonation during the exams will not only face immediate disqualification but also risk facing criminal charges. Furthermore, the Board vows to take decisive action against any officers or institutions implicated in facilitating malpractices or irregularities during the examination process.

With the exams scheduled to take place from February 28 to March 19, a total of 9,80,978 students, comprising 4,78,718 first-year and 5,02,260 second-year candidates, have registered for the examinations. These exams will be conducted across 1,521 designated centers established throughout the State.

To ensure the integrity of the examination process, the Board has appointed 1,521 chief superintendents and an equivalent number of departmental officers. Additionally, a contingent of 27,900 invigilators has been enlisted to oversee examination proceedings. To bolster vigilance against malpractice, the Board has deployed 75 flying squads and 200 sitting squads.

In a bid to facilitate students’ access to examination centers, the TSBIE has introduced a center locator application available for download on the Google Playstore. This application enables students to identify their respective centers by inputting their hall ticket and center code, thereby providing essential information on distance and estimated travel time.

Hall tickets for the examinations are available for download on the Board’s official website, https://tsbie.cgg.gov.in/. Students are advised to meticulously review their hall tickets for accuracy in details such as photo, signature, name, medium, and subjects. Additionally, students are encouraged to visit their designated centers a day prior to the examination date to familiarize themselves with the route and location.

The Board has established a dedicated State control room, reachable at 040-24655027, to address any issues or concerns related to the examination process. Students and stakeholders are urged to utilize this resource to report any anomalies or seek assistance as needed.
