In a recent development, IAS officer Amrapali, currently serving as the Joint Commissioner of HMDA, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL). The decision was announced by HMDA Commissioner Danakishore, who issued the necessary orders for this significant change in leadership.

The outgoing in-charge Managing Director of HGCL, BLN Reddy, has tendered his resignation, paving the way for Amrapali to assume the full additional charge. In her new role, Amrapali will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing and managing the operations of HGCL.

Furthermore, Amrapali will take on additional roles, including the duties of the Outer Ring Road in-charge project director and special collector. This expansion of responsibilities highlights the trust and confidence placed in her capabilities.

It is noteworthy that Amrapali will continue to fulfill her role as the Managing Director of the Musi Riverfront Authority, concurrently with her duties as the Joint Commissioner of HMDA.
