Hyderabad :- A portion of the boundary wall of LB Stadium in Hyderabad collapsed late last night following heavy rainfall in the city. The collapse caused significant damage to several police vehicles parked near the old CCS office. The incident also uprooted a nearby tree, adding to the disruption.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad, predicting light to moderate rain or thundershowers with occasional intense spells on August 20 and 21.
The IMD has warned of water pooling on roads, traffic congestion, slippery surfaces, and potential disruptions in electricity and water services. Residents have been advised to limit movement, while the Municipal Corporation, road, and rail traffic departments have been urged to take necessary precautions. Response forces are on alert to handle any emergencies that may arise.
