Hyderabad , Sep-13 — Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has instructed the state’s police force to take strict action against anyone attempting to disrupt law and order across Telangana. In a conversation with Director General of Police (DGP) Jitender on Friday, the Chief Minister emphasized that the government will not tolerate political conspiracies aimed at destabilizing the state’s peaceful environment.
Reddy accused the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party of attempting to create unrest, stating that their actions are damaging the state’s reputation. “The government will not stand by while political actors destroy Telangana’s image,” he warned.
Responding to the Chief Minister’s orders, DGP Jitender convened a meeting with the state’s top police officials, including commissioners from key areas like Cyberabad, Hyderabad, and Rachakonda. The DGP made it clear that maintaining law and order in the state is the top priority.
“There will be no compromise on law and order in Telangana,” DGP Jitender affirmed, adding that anyone trying to disrupt peace would be dealt with strictly according to the law. The DGP stressed a zero-tolerance approach toward those attempting to disturb peace in Telangana.
He also appealed to the public to refrain from taking matters into their own hands and urged everyone to cooperate with the police. “The image of the Telangana Police must be protected at all costs,” DGP Jitender said, highlighting the force’s commitment to maintaining peace and stability in the state.
The meeting comes amidst rising political tensions in Telangana, with the police assuring citizens that all measures will be taken to preserve law and order in the region.
