In a vibrant celebration of canine diversity, Blue Cross of Hyderabad hosted the second edition of the LoveMyIndie Dog Show at Chaitanya Vidyalaya, Domalguda today. The event, a joint effort with Mars Petcare, drew passionate participation from pet parents, showcasing the organization’s enduring commitment to animal welfare and the unique Indie dogs that are an integral part of India’s diverse canine community.
The #LoveMyIndie Dog Show, now a hallmark in the city’s pet welfare initiatives, signifies a collective stride toward a future where every pet, especially Indies, is cherished and valued. Mars Petcare’s collaboration with Blue Cross of Hyderabad underscores the shared mission of fostering a nurturing environment for pets.
Featuring categories such as ‘Young/Wise Indie’ and ‘Great Indie,’ the show provided a platform for Indie dogs of varying ages and sizes to be acknowledged. Winners in each category received certificates and special Pedigree hampers from Mars Petcare, recognizing their distinctive personalities. A distinguished panel of judges, including vets Dr. Lakshmi Ramana, Dr. Shubam Vaid, Aparna Rao, President of Blue Cross of Hyderabad, Vinod Poyilath, Dog Behaviour Specialist Meitem Connolly, and Shreya Paropakari, evaluated dogs based on behavior and friendliness, celebrating the inherent beauty and diversity of Indies.
More than a competition, the LoveMyIndie Dog Show was a communal celebration of the Indie dog community. The Bluecross and Mars Petcare photo booth, adorned with playful props and creative backdrops, became a delightful spot for pet parents to capture memorable moments with their furry friends, fostering a joyful atmosphere.
