Empowering Growth and Innovation in Rural Communities through Strategic Investments

Warangal August 27,2023 – A dedicated effort led by Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and District Collector P Pravinya is driving remarkable advancements in the Parvathagiri cluster as part of the Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (RURBAN). Regular monitoring and strategic management have propelled the implementation of a range of initiatives within the region.

Under the ambit of this mission, a grand total of 191 diverse projects, amounting to a budget of Rs 30 crore, have been initiated across the Parvathagiri cluster. Notably, Parvathagiri holds special significance as the ancestral village of Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao. With diligent efforts, a substantial portion of the projects has already reached completion.

Impressive milestones have been achieved, including the successful establishment of a shopping complex and a well-appointed library, backed by an investment of Rs 60 lakh. Additionally, a village ‘haat’ (market) project with an outlay of Rs 47 lakh has been accomplished, along with the creation of an integrated rural marketing hub. This hub aims to bolster local artisans and small-scale entrepreneurs, fostering economic growth at the grassroots level.

Multiple projects remain in active development, showcasing the commitment to comprehensive rural development. Notably, ongoing initiatives encompass the establishment of a cutting-edge millet dehusking unit in Konkapaka village, innovative vegetable pandals in Chinthanekkonda, Engugallu, and Gopanpalle, and a dedicated animal health center in Enugallu. Moreover, an expansive godown with a capacious capacity of 2,000 metric tons is also taking shape in Enugallu.

Anticipating future requirements, visionary projects are in the pipeline. One such endeavor includes the construction of a substantial agricultural godown, boasting a remarkable capacity of 3,000 metric tons. This warehouse, designed to accommodate agricultural produce, is being set up at an investment of Rs 2.60 crore. Additionally, a state-of-the-art convention center, representing a confluence of culture and community, is taking form with a budget of Rs 2 crore.

District Collector P Pravinya has passionately urged officials to expedite the ongoing projects, recognizing their vital role in fostering regional progress. At the heart of this initiative lies the RURBAN scheme’s core principle – bridging the gap between urban development and rural essence. This innovative approach embraces the concept of ‘Rurban clusters’, intertwining geographically contiguous villages with populations ranging from 25,000 to 50,000 in plain areas. Through this holistic strategy, the mission strives to elevate rural landscapes, empowering them to thrive in the modern world while preserving their traditional roots.

North Korea Eases Border Restrictions After Three Years, Allowing Citizens Abroad to Return Amid Pandemic Adjustments

0

North Korea has revoked a three-year entry ban on its citizens abroad due to Covid-19 concerns. Citizens returning home will undergo a week-long medical observation. This decision follows the resumption of flights with China and Russia. The move is likely to bring back diplomats, laborers, and students. This shift suggests North Korea’s increased engagement after maintaining a closed border since 2020

Pyongyang, August 27, 2023 — Marking a significant policy shift, North Korea has decided to lift the entry ban imposed on its citizens residing abroad due to Covid-19 concerns, as reported by the state media on Sunday. After more than three years of stringent virus restrictions and border closure, this move signals the nation’s response to the evolving global pandemic scenario.

The Korean Central News Agency announced that “citizens abroad have been allowed to return home” in response to the eased worldwide pandemic situation. The adjustment in the anti-epidemic measures comes alongside the resumption of commercial flights between North Korea and China, as well as Russia, last week. Air Koryo, the national carrier, facilitated flights from Pyongyang to Beijing and Vladivostok, facilitating the repatriation of North Korean citizens who had been staying in these countries.

Upon returning, individuals will undergo a “proper medical observation at quarantine wards for a week,” the KCNA statement outlined. This approach aligns with North Korea’s commitment to preserving public health while reintegrating its citizens.

The decision to lift the entry ban is expected to facilitate the return of North Korean diplomats, laborers, and students residing in foreign nations. North Korea had initially closed its border in January 2020, subsequently implementing rigorous “maximum emergency anti-epidemic” measures in May 2022 following the detection of the country’s first Covid-19 case.

Leader Kim Jong-un had previously declared victory over the Covid-19 crisis in August of the previous year, asserting the end of the pandemic within North Korea’s borders. Despite this, the nation had maintained its cautious border closure, limited only to cargo operations with China and Russia via train and truck.

The cautious approach has seen exceptions, with the secretive regime inviting senior Chinese and Russian officials to its military parade in July, marking the first known foreign visitors since the border shutdown. In a further display of engagement, North Korean taekwondo athletes participated in the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championships in Kazakhstan after crossing the border into China earlier this month.

As North Korea eases its border restrictions and re-engages with the international community, the nation’s involvement in the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, from September 23 to October 8, by fielding seven judokas, underscores its evolving stance on global events

He highlighted a recent incident of a Dalit youth’s death and criticized both the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for their responses. Kharge expressed confidence in the Congress’s prospects for the upcoming Assembly elections, while the BJP remains determined to maintain its hold on the state.

New Delhi August, 27,2023: Mallikarjun Kharge, the President of the Congress party, asserted on Sunday that the state of Madhya Pradesh, governed by the BJP, has the highest incidence of crimes against Dalits. Kharge went on to predict that the ruling party’s tenure in the state will come to an end during the upcoming Assembly elections. Kharge condemned a recent incident where a Dalit youth was fatally beaten in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar district. He accused the BJP of transforming the state into a hub of Dalit-related atrocities. According to Kharge, the rate of crimes against Dalits in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh is three times higher than the national average.

In a pointed comment directed at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kharge remarked that while Modi is involved in the construction of the Sant Ravidas temple in Sagar, he remains conspicuously silent about the ongoing injustices against Dalits and Adivasis in the state.

Kharge also took a swipe at Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, suggesting that his gestures of washing the feet of underprivileged individuals in front of cameras are merely performative. He voiced his confidence that the people of Madhya Pradesh will not succumb to the BJP’s influence and will address the concerns of marginalized sections of society through the electoral process.

As the Assembly elections are slated to take place later this year, the Congress party is optimistic about its chances of unseating the BJP from power, while the BJP remains confident in its ability to retain control over the state.

A suspected leopard sighting near Chetla Thimmaipally village in Medak has caused panic among farmers. The leopard killed a calf in an agricultural field, leading to warnings from forest officials for farmers to avoid venturing alone into fields and forests, especially at night. The incident highlights the need for caution as authorities address the situation

PM Modi Exposes Himself at BRICS: Confession on Chinese Occupation Claims

0

Prime Minister Modi inadvertently admitted his contradiction on Chinese occupation claims during the BRICS summit. His recent talks with President Xi Jinping exposed his earlier denial of Chinese intrusion in Ladakh. This revelation has sparked discussions and calls for an apology from former union Minister Subramanian Swamy.

August 26, 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s previous assertions regarding the occupation of significant regions in Ladakh by the Chinese army have been directly contradicted by his own statements during the 15th BRICS summit held in Johannesburg, South Africa.

During the summit, Prime Minister Modi engaged in discussions with Chinese President Xi Jinping, focusing on the withdrawal of front-line troops from Depsang Plains and Demchok in eastern Ladakh.

In 2020, when reports emerged of the Chinese army occupying substantial areas in the Ladakh region, Prime Minister Modi had vehemently denied any Chinese incursion.

He had stated, “Neither have they intruded into our border, nor has any post been taken over by them (China). No one can take even an inch of the land.

However, his recent conversation with Xi Jinping, addressing the withdrawal of troops from Depsang Plains and Demchok, has inadvertently revealed that his earlier claims were false and that he was aware of the Chinese presence in those regions.

Ladakh, including the Pangong area, witnessed a grave standoff between the two nations in 2020, resulting in the tragic death of 20 Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley by the Chinese army. Despite prolonged negotiations leading to partial troop withdrawals by both Indian and Chinese forces from several face-off points along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), including Galwan Valley, northern and southern banks of Pangong Tso, Gogra Post, and Hot Springs, the standoff remains unresolved.

This marks the second time Modi and Xi discussed bilateral relations between New Delhi and Beijing, following aggressive actions by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to alter the status quo along the LAC in eastern Ladakh.

In response to Modi’s admission of his earlier falsehoods, former union Minister Subramanian Swamy has called for an apology to the nation. He tweeted, “Modi must apologize to the nation for telling lies when he told the nation ‘koi aaya nahi..’ . Now he admits in South Africa that Depsang and other Indian areas such as Demchok, undisputed Indian territory, have been occupied by China and pleads for ‘Buffer Zones’!!!!”
