Asaduddin Owaisi Advises PM Modi to Translate Offensive Remarks and Send It to Your Arab Friends

In a disturbing incident that transpired during the late-night session of Lok Sabha on Thursday, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bidhuri used offensive and anti-Muslim slurs against his fellow parliamentarian, Danish Ali from the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP). The offensive remarks were captured on camera and broadcast as part of the Lok Sabha proceedings.

Bidhuri’s remarks included derogatory terms such as “ugrawaaadi” (militant), “aatankwaadi hai” (terrorist), “ugrawaadi hai” (militant), and “aantankwaadi hai” (terrorist) when referring to Danish Ali. Additionally, Bidhuri reportedly referred to Ali as a “Mullah aatankwadi” (Mullah terrorist), “bharwa” (pimp), and “katwa” (circumcised).

During the intense exchange, Bidhuri even exclaimed, “Baahar phenko iss mulle ko” (Throw this ‘Mullah’ out), targeting Danish Ali.

Congress leader Kodikunnal Suresh, presiding over the session, can be seen urging MPs to maintain decorum. Suresh later confirmed that he had instructed officials to ensure that Bidhuri’s offensive comments were expunged from the parliamentary records.

In response to this incident, Danish Ali has written to Birla, requesting that Bidhuri’s comments be referred to the Lok Sabha privileges committee. In his letter, Ali expressed his dismay, stating that the episode “is most unfortunate” and deeply saddening, especially since it occurred in the new parliament building under Birla’s leadership as Speaker. He emphasized the need for an inquiry to maintain discipline among experienced members and preserve the nation’s atmosphere.

Despite the hate speech uttered within the parliament, the BJP has not taken any immediate action against Bidhuri. However, Defense Minister and Deputy Leader of Lok Sabha, Rajnath Singh, expressed regret over the remarks, stating, “I express regret if the opposition is hurt by the remarks made by the member,” while also mentioning that he had not personally heard the comments.

According to PTI reports, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla cautioned Bidhuri of “strict action” if such behavior were to repeat in the future but did not specify any immediate consequences for this incident.

Asaduddin Owaisi advised Prime Minister Modi to translate this inflammatory statement by the BJP MP and send it to his Arab friends.

Speaking on the matter, Danish Ali questioned, “Is this the ‘New India’ that Narendra Modi speaks about? If an MP is subjected to such abuse inside Lok Sabha, one can only imagine the plight of an ordinary Muslim.”

He expressed concern that hate speech has not only proliferated in the streets but has also entered the revered halls of parliament.

Congress leader Jairam Ramesh criticized Rajnath Singh’s apology as an “eyewash” and demanded stronger action against Bidhuri. Ramesh condemned Bidhuri’s offensive language, describing it as an insult not only to parliament but to every Indian citizen. He wondered why the MP had not yet been suspended.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist) called for Bidhuri’s arrest, asserting that parliamentary privilege should not protect hate speech.

BJP MP Harsh Vardhan, who faced criticism on social media for his reaction during Bidhuri’s slurs, claimed that both MPs used unparliamentary language against each other, without acknowledging the communal slurs used by Bidhuri. Harsh Vardhan then discussed his friendships with many Muslim individuals.

IMD Issues Yellow Alert for Heavy Rainfall in Northeastern Telangana

0

Hyderabad : The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall across several regions in North and Northeastern Telangana. Anticipating significant precipitation, the IMD has forecasted heavy rains for today and tomorrow in specific areas of Telangana, particularly in Mancherial, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Jaishankar Bhupalpally, and Mulugu.

While light to moderate rains and thundershowers are expected to grace other parts of Telangana, the IMD has attributed these weather developments to a low-pressure system that initially formed in the Northeastern part of the Bay of Bengal. This low-pressure area has since evolved into an upper air circulation, extending from Jharkhand to Telangana, passing through Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh at an altitude of up to 1.5 kilometers above mean sea level.

According to Sravani, a scientist at IMD Hyderabad, “On September 25, a monsoon withdrawal is anticipated over Rajasthan, heralding rain showers from the following week. Hyderabad should brace for cloudy conditions and overnight to morning rains. Intense spells of rain are in the forecast, with light to moderate thundershowers expected tomorrow.”

Furthermore, Sravani has noted that light showers are also on the horizon for September 28, coinciding with the last day of Ganesh Idol immersion in Hyderabad. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather advisories as they prepare for potential rainfall in the coming days.

Imphal : Tensions flared in Manipur as a series of protests unfolded, with hundreds of women thronging police stations to demand the unconditional release of five individuals arrested last week. The armed miscreants face charges of extortion, misuse of police uniform, and impersonation, according to the police, while the women’s collective Meira Paibi asserts that they are village volunteers.

Authorities responded by reimposing curfew in the twin districts of Imphal starting at 5 pm on Thursday. The curfew was reinstated after protesters attempted to storm police stations and court arrest in support of the arrested youths.

During these protests, more than 10 people sustained injuries when Manipur security forces and RAF personnel fired tear gas shells to disperse the crowd attempting to storm police stations.

Protesters, holding placards and shouting slogans, made attempts to enter various police stations, including the Porompat police station in Imphal East and Singjamei police station, and Kwakeithel police outpost in Imphal West district. Similar efforts were reported at the Mayang Imphal police station in Imphal West district and the Andro police station in Imphal East district.

The ongoing protests in the Imphal valley have been called for by six local clubs and Meira Paibis, all demanding the release of the five village volunteers.

One protester at Porompat expressed their frustration, stating, “We were left with no option but to court arrest as the government failed to release the five village volunteers. If such village volunteers are arrested, who will protect the Meitei villages in the periphery of the hills and the valley from Kuki Zo militants?”

All Langthabal Kendra United Clubs Coordinating Committee president Yumnam Hitler explained, “The decision to launch the ‘voluntary mass arrest’ agitation was taken after the government took no steps to release the five arrested youths.”

An official order issued by the district magistrate of Imphal West announced the withdrawal of curfew hours, which had been relaxed from 5 am to 9 pm on September 21. Restrictions on the movement of the general public outside their residences were enforced in all areas of Imphal West district. Similar orders were imposed in Imphal East district, according to officials.

On September 16, Manipur police had arrested five individuals for carrying sophisticated weapons and wearing camouflage uniforms. The police clarified that all five men had been presented before a judicial magistrate and remanded to police custody.

“Connecting with India’s Labor Force: Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Coolie No 1’ Expedition”

New Delhi : – Rahul Gandhi, a prominent leader of the Congress Party, embarked on a heartwarming journey today at Delhi’s Anand Vihar railway station. In a remarkable show of solidarity with the hardworking porters, often referred to as “coolies,” Gandhi assumed the role of “Coolie No 1.” His mission was not just to observe but to actively connect with these unsung heroes, carrying the world’s weight on their shoulders daily.

During his visit, Rahul Gandhi went beyond expectations, donning the iconic red shirt traditionally worn by porters and even shouldering luggage, symbolizing his immersion into their world. His interactions with the laborers were characterized by sincerity and empathy as he sought to understand their daily trials and tribulations.

A witness at Anand Vihar Railway Station expressed their joy, saying, “We are extremely pleased that Rahul Gandhi met auto drivers and coolies here at Anand Vihar. He assured us that he will advocate for our concerns with the government.”

The Congress Party shared this touching moment on the microblogging platform X (formerly known as Twitter) by posting a photograph of Rahul Gandhi engaging with the porters. Their tweet underscored his unwavering commitment to the people, stating, “Rahul Gandhiji, the people’s hero, met his porter friends at the Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi today. Recently, a video went viral in which the porter friends of the railway station expressed their desire to meet him.”

This visit to Anand Vihar Railway Station comes after months of appeals from porters who sought Rahul Gandhi’s understanding of their issues and his dedication to improving their working conditions. In the preceding month, Gandhi traveled to Leh-Ladakh, where he interacted with locals to gain invaluable insights into their concerns and challenges.

This isn’t the first time Rahul Gandhi has immersed himself in various sections of society. Previously, he made an unannounced visit to Delhi’s Bengali Market and Jama Masjid area, delving into local cuisine and embracing the culture. He also spent quality time in the Mukherjee Nagar area, engaging with UPSC aspirants, and paid a visit to Delhi University’s PG Men’s Hostel, where he joined students for lunch.

Rahul Gandhi’s unwavering commitment to understanding and addressing the issues faced by different segments of society is evident in his interactions. From late-night truck journeys to heartfelt conversations with truck drivers at roadside dhabas and visits to farmers during the paddy planting season, he continues to forge deep connections with the people of India as part of his Bharat Jodo Yatra, a journey that has taken him from Kanyakumari to Kashmir.

In the true spirit of his visit, Rahul Gandhi embodies the words, “Sari duniya ka booj hum uthate hai” (We carry the burden of the entire world).

Union Health Ministry Drops NEET-PG-2023 Qualifying Percentile to ‘Zero’

Doctors with zero or negative marks in NEET-PG-2023 can now secure admissions in PG medical seats at private medical colleges, ensuring full seat utilization.

Hyderabad : In a groundbreaking move aimed at opening doors for aspiring doctors to pursue specialized postgraduate medical studies and addressing the persistent issue of vacant PG seats in private medical colleges, the Union Health Ministry has made the unprecedented decision to eliminate the qualifying percentile for NEET-PG-2023, effectively setting it at ‘zero’ across all categories.

This decision, although welcomed by doctors’ associations and medical students, has stirred significant controversy. Many senior public health officials argue that this move risks diminishing the significance of NEET-PG examinations and could potentially impact the overall quality and standards of healthcare and medical education in the nation.

It’s worth noting that just days prior to this decision, the Indian Medical Association based in New Delhi had urgently appealed to Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, to intervene and lower the cut-off percentile of NEET-PG 2023 to at least 30 percent, with the aim of filling the majority of vacant PG seats, both in clinical and non-clinical medical branches
