According to Denmark’s Statens Serum Institut, the number of new cases has risen significantly, reaching epidemic proportions. Senior researcher Hanne-Dorthe Emborg notes a considerable increase, stating, “We are now seeing significantly more cases than usual, and there is widespread infection throughout the country.” In week 47 alone, 541 new cases of Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection were detected, marking a threefold increase since week 42.

Seizures include liquor/gudumba, black jaggery/Alum, ganja, gold, silver, and freebies intended for voter distribution, leading to (842) reported cases.
(7842) individuals, including (579) known rowdy elements, have been bound over as part of maintaining law and order.
Imposed Restrictions:
Section 144 Cr.PC has been imposed, prohibiting the assembly of five or more persons and holding public meetings within the Warangal Police Commissionerate limits from 1700 hours on 28.11.2023 to 0600 hours on 30.11.2023.
Notification for the closure of liquor shops and other establishments selling/serving liquor during this period has also been issued.
Commissioner Ambar Kishor Jha urged voters to cast their votes without fear, resist inducements, and adhere to the Model Code of Conduct. Legal actions will be initiated against those who violate the code.
