
New Delhi: On Monday evening, Nepal experienced a seismic event of magnitude 5.6 on the Richter scale, triggering tremors that reverberated as far as the Delhi-NCR region. Earthquake tremors were notably felt in various parts of northern India, including Delhi-NCR, precisely at 4:18 pm today.
According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), Nepal bore the brunt of this earthquake, registering a magnitude of 5.6 on the Richter scale.
This unsettling event marks the third significant earthquake to affect Nepal within a span of just four days. On the night of November 3, a powerful earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale had struck Nepal, leading to strong tremors felt in several northern Indian states, including the Delhi-NCR region, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
