New Delhi: Important Clarifications Regarding G20 Summit Restrictions

New Delhi, 9th and 10th September: Several world leaders and heads of international organizations will gather at the Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, for the G20 Summit. National government authorities have imposed certain restrictions for this global event.
The Delhi Police has now issued a statement clarifying that essential services in the areas of New Delhi will continue without disruption during the two-day conference. This clarification comes after reports from some news agencies that restrictions would be in place from Friday to Sunday.
In a tweet, the Delhi Police stated, “Delhi is fully open, and restrictions will only apply to a small area of the NDMC region. It has come to our knowledge that some news agencies are disseminating incorrect information and misleading details about the restrictions imposed for the G-20 Summit.”
This clarification aims to rectify any confusion or misconceptions among the general public and news readers. It emphasizes that restrictions are limited to a small part of the NDMC area. We urge news agencies to publish accurate details in line with our instructions to avoid any confusion.
