New Delhi: Under the Lok Sabha Election 2024, voting will take place in Delhi on May 25th. There is a direct contest between India Alliance and BJP in Delhi. Under India Alliance, the Aam Aadmi Party has fielded candidates in four seats while Congress has candidates in three seats. In 2019, BJP had won all seven seats in Delhi. *North East Delhi Seat
This seat was formed in 2008 after the recommendation of the Delimitation Commission of India formed in 2002. Voting was held for the Lok Sabha elections for the first time in 2009. Under this Lok Sabha seat, a total of 10 assembly constituencies including Seelampur, Burari, Gokalpur, Seemapuri, Ghonda, Babarpur, Karawal Nagar, Rohtas Nagar. If we talk about Muslim voters, then this Lok Sabha seat has the highest number of Muslim voters in Delhi. The total percentage of Muslim voters on this seat is 20.7%. Under this seat, the Alliance has nominated Kanhaiya Kumar as its candidate while BJP has nominated Manoj Tiwari from this seat. Here, Purvanchal voters are also important.

*East Delhi Seat in the Hands of Muslim Voters
East Delhi is the second largest Lok Sabha seat in terms of Muslim population. Here the number of Muslim voters is 16.8%. That is, if so many voters vote in favor of a candidate, then his chances of winning increase considerably. Apart from Muslims, most voters in this seat are related to the Sikh community. In this seat, there are 10 assembly constituencies including Kondli, Patparganj, Krishna Nagar, Laxmi Nagar, Shahdara, Gandhi Nagar, and Okhla, where a large number of migrants also live. AAP has fielded Kuldip Kumar as its candidate from this Lok Sabha seat on behalf of the India Alliance. Along with this, BJP has made Harsimrat Kaur its candidate from this seat.

*Intense Competition on New Delhi Seat
This time there is a fierce competition on the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat between the candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party Somanath Bharti and the BJP’s Bansri Suraj. If we talk about Muslim voters on this seat, then here their percentage is 14%. This seat was formed in 1951. After the delimitation of parliamentary constituencies in 2008, this area consists of 10 assembly constituencies. In which Kurali Bagh, Patparganj, Moti Nagar, Delhi Cantonment, Rajinder Nagar, New Delhi, Kasturba Nagar, Malviya Nagar, RK Puram, and Greater Kailash are included. If we talk about Muslim voters on this seat, then their percentage is 16.8%.

*Intense Competition on Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha Seat
This time there is an intense competition on the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha seat between the Congress’s Jaiprakash Aggarwal and the BJP’s Parvesh Sahib Singh. If we talk about Muslim voters on this seat, then here their percentage is 14%. This seat was formed in 1956. And elections were held for the first time on this seat in 1957.

*South Delhi in AAP’s Contest Against BJP
This time there is a competition between Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate Sehram Pahelwan and Bharatiya Janata Party’s Ramveer Singh Bidhuri on the South Delhi Lok Sabha seat. If we talk about Muslim voters on this seat, then here their percentage is 7%. In West Delhi too, there is a competition between the two.
