The UAE-India Business Council (UIBC) delegation, led by Mr. Faizal Kottikolan, convened with Telangana government officials to explore potential collaborations and synergies. The dialogue aimed to pave the way for enhanced trade and investment relations between the UAE and the dynamic state of Telangana.
Dubai, UAE – Industries Minister of Telangana, KTR, held a productive meeting with a senior delegation from the UAE-India Business Council (UIBC) in Dubai. The delegation was led by Mr. Faizal Kottikolan, Founder and Chairman of KEF Holdings, and featured prominent business leaders.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in discussions revolving around strategies to bolster trade and investment ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India. The focus was on how UIBC, as a catalyst, can play a pivotal role in enhancing these economic linkages.
Minister KTR, known for emphasizing India’s rich diversity, encouraged the delegation to adopt a more state-specific approach, recognizing the unique opportunities each Indian state presents. In this context, he extended a warm invitation to UIBC to lead a business delegation to Hyderabad, Telangana’s vibrant capital, with the goal of exploring promising investment avenues within the state.
It’s worth noting that UIBC India stands as the Official Joint Business Chamber, jointly established by both the UAE and Indian Governments. Its primary objective is to foster an inclusive bilateral trade environment that benefits both nations.
The distinguished UIBC delegation included notable figures such as Mr. Tariq Chauhan, Group CEO of EFS Facilities; Mr. Siddharth Balachandran, Executive Chairman and CEO of Buimerc Corporation; and Mr. Amit Jain, CEO of EMAAR. This high-level engagement signifies a commitment to strengthening economic ties and promoting mutually beneficial opportunities between the UAE and India.
