PEDDAPALLI : A heart-wrenching incident unfolded at Peddapalli railway station on Thursday as two individuals, identified as Raju (40) and Yakub (45), lost their lives in a tragic train accident. The victims, residents of Peddapalli town, were known for earning their livelihood by selling water packets on trains.

According to the railway police, Raju and Yakub, who supplied water to canteens and sold water packets in trains, met with the unfortunate accident at Peddapalli railway station. The two vendors had placed water cans at the station and were crossing the railway track to have tea when the Telangana Express train, en route from New Delhi to Secunderabad, struck them. The impact resulted in the immediate loss of both lives.

The incident highlights the inherent risks associated with navigating railway tracks, emphasizing the need for enhanced safety measures and awareness, particularly for those engaged in activities near train stations.
