These road closures will be in effect from 8 am on Thursday until 8 am the following day.

Hyderabad : In anticipation of the upcoming Ganesh immersion procession, Hyderabad’s traffic police have issued vital guidance for commuters. To ensure smooth traffic flow and safety during the event, the following junctions in the city are advised to be avoided from 8 am on Thursday until 8 am the following day:

The Ganesh immersion procession is set to kick off from Balapur Chandrayangutta, making its way to Tank Bund through a route that includes Falaknuma, Aliabad, Nagulchinta, Charminar, Gulzar Houz, Nayapul, MJ Market, Abid Road, Basheerbagh, Liberty, and Himayatnagar. Additionally, tributary processions will merge from various areas, including Mangalhat, Jummerat Bazaar, Puranapul, Hussainialam, Malakpet, Saroornagar, Chaderghat, Koti, Uppal, Amberpet, Nallakunta, Musheerabad, Chikkadpally, Ameerpet, SR Nagar, Masab Tank, and Secunderabad.
Private buses have been advised to operate from locations outside the city and refrain from entering the city starting at 6 am on Thursday until the procession concludes the following day. Furthermore, TSRTC authorities will be provided with alternative routes to ensure their convenience, taking into account the restrictions on vehicular traffic movement.

For those traveling to or from the RGI Airport, it is recommended to avoid Necklace Road, NTR Marg, Tank Bund Road, and the main procession route. Instead, commuters are advised to use the PVNR Expressway or the Outer Ring Road for a smoother and hassle-free journey. Stay informed and plan your travel accordingly during this festive event.
