Telangana Polls: Nizamabad Gears Up with 412 Counting Staff for December 3

In preparation for the vote counting scheduled for December 3 in the State Assembly elections, polling officials in Nizamabad organized training for the counting staff across all six constituencies on Sunday.

District collector Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu revealed that a total of 412 counting staff have been appointed, including 25 percent additional staff in reserve, as mandated by the Election Commission. This provision ensures the efficient counting of votes in the six assembly segments round-wise.

Among the appointed counting staff, there are 143 supervisors, 143 assistant supervisors, and 126 micro observers, providing a diverse team for the counting process.

To equip the selected staff with the necessary skills and understanding of the job, training classes will be conducted on Monday, as announced by the district collector.

The counting of votes for the six assembly constituencies in Nizamabad district will take place at the Government Women’s and Boys’ Polytechnic Colleges in the district headquarters. The meticulous planning and training reflect the election authorities’ commitment to ensuring a smooth and transparent counting process in the upcoming Telangana polls.
