Hyderabad : The political landscape in Telangana is poised for a potential shift, as per the latest survey results released by Times Now – ETG Research. The survey predicts a significant presence for the Congress in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, projecting the party to secure 8 to 10 out of the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies.

According to the survey, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is anticipated to claim 3 to 5 Lok Sabha seats, while the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is expected to secure a similar range of 3 to 5 seats. The survey further suggests that other players, including the All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (MIM), may secure 1 Lok Sabha seat.

These predictions come on the heels of the recent triumph of the Congress in Telangana’s Assembly elections, where the party secured an impressive 64 seats. The BRS followed with 39 seats, BJP won 8 seats, and MIM secured 1 seat.

Notably, the Times Now – ETG survey presents an intriguing perspective on the political landscape, hinting at potential changes in the balance of power. In a parallel revelation, the survey anticipates a commanding victory for the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) in the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh. Projections suggest that the YSRCP is poised to secure 24 to 25 seats out of the total 25 Lok Sabha seats, while the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) may be confined to zero to 1 seat.
