
Hyderabad : — The Sultan Ul Uloom College of Law is currently hosting Amjad Ali Khan National Moot Court Competition on December 22nd and 23rd, 2023. The inaugural session, held on Friday, featured Mrs. Farheen Kouser, IX Junior Civil Judge at the City Civil Court, Hyderabad, as the Chief Guest.
Mrs. Farheen Kouser, an alumna of Sultan Ul Uloom College of Law, expressed her deep connection to the institution during her speech. She highlighted the profound impact of the college on her foundation and remarked, “Agar Irade buland ho to hum Asman Bhe chuu sakte hain” — emphasizing the significance of determination and its potential to lead to great heights. Reflecting on her educational journey, she encouraged students to strengthen their resolve, instilling confidence in them.
Expressing immense joy at being part of the inaugural function of the National Moot Court Competition at her alma mater, Mrs. Farheen Kouser underlined the importance of Moot Courts in providing students with a unique platform to apply their persuasive skills, crucial in real-world court scenarios. The competition saw active participation from 28 teams representing different states across the country.
In a competitive spirit, students from renowned institutions such as Dr. Ambedkar Law University (Tamilnadu), Saveetha School of Law, K V Ranga Reddy Law College, and ICFAI Law College emerged as the Semifinalists. Their outstanding performances showcased the depth of legal talent present in diverse corners of the nation.
The National Moot Court Competition at Sultan Ul Uloom College of Law promises to be an enriching experience, fostering skill development and providing a valuable platform for legal enthusiasts.
