“Pappu Yadav said something to the media after his victory, including a remark about PM Modi. Watch the video.”

Pappu Yadav has emerged victorious in the Purnia Lok Sabha seat. He faced a strong challenge from BJP candidate Santosh Kushwaha, with both candidates closely contesting for the lead. In the end, Pappu Yadav won by more than 30,000 votes. RJD had fielded Bima Bharti from Purnia, but she was not a significant contender in this race.

Earlier reports indicated surprising trends in Bihar’s ‘hot seat,’ Purnia. RJD candidate Bima Bharti had garnered only around 6,000 votes. The main competition was between Pappu Yadav and Santosh Kushwaha (BJP), with the lead constantly shifting between the two.

Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav’s eldest daughter, Misa Bharti, is maintaining a steady lead in the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat. This seat is witnessing a major shift, as Misa Bharti, who lost to Ram Kripal in the last two Lok Sabha elections, is now significantly ahead of BJP candidate Ram Kripal by around 24,000 votes.

Bihar has 40 Lok Sabha seats, contested by 497 candidates, including 39 women. Voting was conducted in seven phases, with a total voter turnout of 56.96%. In the previous election, the NDA had won 39 out of 40 seats, but political experts consider it nearly impossible to replicate that performance this time. Vote counting is taking place at 40 centers across Bihar, under strict security measures. http://www.akainewsindia.com
